Philosophy and the role of I.

I, first person, call bullshit on anyone’s philosophy that is written from the first person. I’m so smart, as example. I, no we, I, no we, I, no we. And just saying it doesn’t count… ya gotta mean it. I exist as a signature on either a birth certificate or a death certificate. Somebody signs on the dotted line that I showed up for the party, and someone else will certify that I have signed out and left the party. I exist, if I do at all, between two signatures and they are only signatures of second hand accounts.

Fairly sure the clerk of courts wasn’t present when I was born. Any record of me is a second person account. I would like to go on record that some time between the signatures I was actually here.

There goes a more round about way of disproving Cogito Ergo Sum.

But it implies more than what that intended to say, it actually reduces us , literally to Esse Est Percipii.

And even below that to -i am what i am seen as.
Just a compilation of recorded behaviors flagged as singular event horizons.

Maybe that’s all we are, cross referenced into an abstract compilation.

It left a long time ago Meno_, the recognition means shit. Damn that water under the bridge, the milk spilled.

That isn’t what we are Meno_, it is simply a circumstance of the “where and when” that we are (not an endorsement of what is true, but simply a first hand account of the experience of being here in this place in time.)

Truth?.. in this day an age…lacking.
