We’re often told that prehistoric societies were egalitarian.
However, can this be proven? Who is to say early modern human societies were not unlike how chimpanzees are structured’?

Welcome, indoz-- I think it’s safe to say that Homo Sapien and Pan Troglodyte probably did structure their societies in much the same way; however, whether or not those societies were egalitarian depends on how equal is equal? Do you believe that “All men are created equal…,” or that there is a necessary hierarchical social structure? How do you compare today’s Sapien social structure to that of early hominids?
You’ve raised an interesting question. I hope you can run with it.
Violent skeletal remains prove otherwise.
Observing a violent herd of chimpanzees in the jungle also shows otherwise too. [They’re our closest cousins don’t you know…]
