Here’s a thread dedicated to pictures of any kind that you like! I have a deep fasicination with space so I’ll start out with a few…
All of these are taken by the Hubble Telescope. These kind of photographs give me reassurance that we are not alone in this universe. Though we may be unique here on Earth, but who knows what else is out there! The universe is huge, the possibilities are endless.
Here’s my favorite. There’s almost 10,000 galaxies present in this one photograph alone!
Here’s another beautiful one. It’s called the Eagle Nebula or M16 and it’s in our galaxy. It’s a large cloud of dust and gas where stars are created.
The Ring Nebula (M57). Remnants of a dying star in its red giant phase.
i’ve never seen photos like these before - they are simply breathtaking. the second one, in particular, is phenomenal. i’m sure people in the ‘visual arts’ section would have something to say about them!
Well I am a major in astronomy so I know a handful of objects in the sky. I just searched for hubble telescope pictures. I found a good site with a bunch. This isn’t even close to all of them, there’s a ton. laughtergenealogy.com/bin/hu … mbs01.html
