Poem: Power

Thats going to be hard for me.

Almost nothing worth doing is easy.

“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led diffcult lives and led them well.”

  • Theodore Roosevelt

“Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.”

  • Louis D. Brandeis, Supreme Court Justice from 1916 to 1939

“I never did anything worth doing by accident, nor did any of my inventions come by accident; they came by work.”

  • Plato

“Anything worth doing is worth doing slowly.”

  • Mae West, Actress

if i may…

“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
-Winston Churchill

“The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”
-Thomas Paine

“To fly, we have to have resistance.”
-Maya Lin

"All things are difficult before they are easy.”
-Thomas Fuller

go for it, gecota.

Well, that’s not how things are in reality.

A pessimist sees a dark tunnel, an optimist sees the light at the end of the tunnel and a realist sees the lights of an approaching train.

While the engine driver sees three idiots on the railroad track.

Now, that’s a better picture.

“High five for not playing the philosopher, Joe!”

My brain starts to amaze me after 5:00 am.
