(…I may be writing from time to time in creative writing God bless…)
Be forgiving like the water
And thrilling unlike faulters
Be thrilling in your saunter
And willing to even mongers
And stilling for our longers
There comes a time when life must die
Sorrow lives where burden breathes
Come and rest your head my dear
Heartbeats come from lack of fear
And if you fear, your heart shall shake
And if you wake, your heart shall break
A time for you is a time to take
Peace of heart we own for sake
Regret regret and kill the killed
Bring shame to pain and build to guild
And in the end, just as beginning
We shall peak from all of pilling
No shadows where we go- therefore no light
Something far greater, far greater than sight
And if you don’t see, then why shall you be?
And if you shall be, then what shall you see?
And if you do see, there’s one obligation
Give of yourselves for all of creation.
Something so small ends up so great
wouldn’t it be funny if that were a mistake
wouldn’t it be funny if that were just a fake
and i ask you how much fake does it take?
with something so small, we can see love grow
and now we have us, are we the end show?
how can love start, yet end with only us?
how are we the only ones riding on the bus?
i stare out of the window, then back inside
wondering how long i will have on this ride
i see others leave, but i never see them back
and see others sadened when dealing with this fact.
and surely some of us will stay as long as we can
the wisest knowing that is not apart of the plan
some of us will cry, some of us will cheer
some of us will fight, some of us will fear
when staring at this sight there’s something mighty clear
everything is happening right now, right here
some of us will save the world, and some of us will use it
but one thing we must know is that all of us will lose it
so hold on to your love- for that is all that matters
be risen when you wake to the sun and birding chatters
be thankful for your heart, a blessing like no latter
and keep in mind your gift of mine, i hear it in your patters
Look at the stars up above,
they twinkle through the seas
Smell the pollen floating slowly,
share the air with the trees
Hear the birds sing their tune
you will feel oh so fine
Feel the joy of christmas music,
with white snow and scent of pine
See the beauty in the sun
down your spine it takes a run
Brightening you eyes,
giving birth to the sky
Stepping on your toes,
you feel a whisper in your bones
warm as a belly filled with hot chocolate,
light as a feather drifting through space
observant, immeasurable, feel lifted with grace
fresh fruit and pure water,
a little music by the fire, a little dance within your heart
you let in some air and let out a little fart
for some reason you dont care- as if no one else is there
put on some deodorant, brush your teeth and do your hair
take a look into the mirror and take a stare into your stare
let the sun be the one, let the air be your fare
let your bum be clean and waist be even
find pleasure in beauty, do not lust like a heathen…
And what shall you do when your loved one dies?
Will you pray for them? Will you wait until they’re gone?
Pray for them now, pray that they have faith, pray that they are healthy and pray that you are not worthless.
Be something for them. Be a reminder of God.
Find God in your loved ones.
Pray that you love others the same. Pray that you have faith that only grows endlessly and pray they have the same.
Pray to our creator and rejoice in this moment. Be happy for this moment of understanding.
When do you truly become sad? Is it when they die, or is it when you realize they are not here anymore?
Are you sad that you may not refresh your memory?
Well how much may you care for someone if you know they shall always be with you?
Should it be the same as knowing they shall always be with you?
Don’t live a lie! They will not always be with you.
Are you greater than him? Are you greater than her?
Why ask this? It does not matter.
All that matters is what you do. All that matters is what you say.
Keep death close to you- Do not run away from it
Do not go to it- and do not walk along it- do not sleep with it- and do not live with it
Understand it- Do not feel sorry for it and do not feel happy
Love is all that matters- Death is only part of the cycle
Does it (that) matter? surely it does- and why does it matter?
Because it is what gives life meaning- it is what allows for ultimate love- it is what allows.
So keep it close and don’t forget to forget and don’t forget to remember and don’t forget there comes an end
and don’t forget it’s sad. oh yes it is sad. but do not live with this sadness by yourself. share it with others.
Be happy while you are alive- knowing that you will die.
living forever is not the answer- nor is cryogenic freezing
drugs pollute the mind and body
hatred creates darkness. jealousy is of the ignorant
peace is of the non-caring and yet also peace is of strive or merely a side affect of love.
who is this love for? who shall you love when your loved one dies?
FIND GOD IN YOUR LOVED ONES- and they shall never leave
do you feel your loved ones when they are sleeping? then why not when they die?
Grab on to their uniqueness- grab on to their special aura, grab on to their heart- it is not in the eyes
grab on to their death and remember them in your heart not in your mind- feel their soul but do not become obsessed or you have not grabbed onto their soul- instead you have grabbed onto yours.
do not grab onto your soul- for it is you- grab onto others and ride with them
yes, ride with them- you do not have to speak
or you may tell a joke as well- isn’t that great.
let the moments come but do not force them. do not be a moment maker nor a moment taker.
they will leave- and what will you do?
will a part of your soul die when they go? well lucky for them huh
it’s not apart of life- life is only apart of life- death is only apart of death.
and what shall you do when your loved one dies?
shall you weep? and for how long? shall you cover up? and for how long?
will you be like a rock or like water.
I say be like water. let life form you instead of you forming life.
cry when your sad and laugh when your funny.
when do you let go of your sad memories? and when do they become happy?
will those who give the most have the most to lose?
do you wish you’d die first? oh you that’s so weak- why do you run from death?
you don’t like pain? neither do I, but when it comes its never so bad right?
It feels like your soul is exercising- can you stop it? are you so strong?
only if you want to be- is this a good want?
why not feel the pain? why not feel it now? will that stop your happiness? certainly it will not- in fact it will greaten it
God bless
hi helptheherd, your Poems are very nice it touches heart. i want to share some Poems with u plz tell me about them.
She has no need to fear the fall
Of harvest from the laddered reach
Of orchards, nor the tide gone ebbing
From the steep beach.
Nor hold to pain’s effrontery
Her body’s bulwark, stern and savage,
Nor be a glass, where to forsee
Another’s ravage.
What she has gathered, and what lost,
She will not find to lose again.
She is possessed by time, who once
Was loved by men.
Poet: Louise Bogan
hello captain_mic, welcome to ilp. thank you for your kind and touching words- my poems are from my heart and i am very happy that they may have touched yours as well
absolutely…i would love to
this poem spoke very deeply but very directly as well. i am very fond of it for its strength and fearless faith. to me it shows a strong faith that has been reached and now fear is not a burden. a progress has been made that can not be damaged.
my favorite part without a doubt is…
“…Her body’s bulwark, stern and savage,
Nor be a glass, where to forsee
Another’s ravage.”
more specifically my favorite line was…
this line is incredible- it literally gives strength from its words- beautifully strong.
i love the strength of this poem
i also am fond of the scenery that is painted…
“She has no need to fear the fall
Of harvest from the laddered reach
Of orchards, nor the tide gone ebbing
From the steep beach.”
from the very beginning you can feel the permanence of this acheived emotion of peace…not only does she not have fear of the fall but more importantly she has no “need” to fear the fall.
“What she has gathered, and what lost,
She will not find to lose again.”
complete faith. no fear. no turning back. no questioning, no worrying and no wondering, void is filled.
“She is possessed by time, who once
Was loved by men.”
absolutely, time -such a gift…many do not appreciate it- strong ending and i like the bittersweet aspect of it giving a more raw honesty. great ending allowing one to be inspired by knowing it is possible to reach this mark of understanding shown in the poem.
Some old poems…
Behold the great awakening,
The essence of life discovers itself.
Incredible beauty wraps our bodies,
Floating our skin, thrusting through our hearts
As we steam and crush our passions,
An incredible power overwhelms our world,
In awe of the feeling,
In awe as a fall holds in its rise,
Sweeping all notions of direction,
Behold this great discovery,
Where shall a cry cause such pain,
Deepening our hearts,
Allowing us to peirce through our holes,
Blending through the gaps of our walls,
Melting our senses,
As we dance our others may pass
Where shall they go but through us,
We shall create life as a world must be born,
As it must be beautifully silently born
And from the darkness light may only come as a burst,
Beauty may only be born
Such music of existence lay within the skies,
We must go through the darkness passing throughout
Disperse
Be it that our dreams will help us,
Our views of beauty are only weak.
In a vision so small we may see a great feast,
Peaceful faces with not a trace of sadness to behold.
As the feelings of joy lift our spirits to the tips of our head
We may see there is search no more.
As we do not wonder why not a single person is eating yet we feel so satisfied.
And why we are all happy yet do not know why.
As love takes over our minds, we soon become one
And only move to reignite our thrills and splendors.
As we live in this timeless paradiso
Our memories provide the weightless flowing of our program.
With hearts this great we may only share through creation,
With a love so great we may only understand it through our creator’s reminders.
This incredible feeling has no room for darkness.
It can never be created by merely a human,
Despite their assumptions of immortality and processions of meditation.
For all the beauty in the world can not supercede the beauty of identity’s mirror.
Yet that which is greater loves without need,
Its ecstasy simply an effect of its infinite demise.
We shall create love to give thanks,
We shall send power to our future,
We shall live in peace and realize our beautiful sizes,
As we let the horizons craddle our hearts and destroy illusions of limitation.
We shall love our home earth,
With its wondrous colors and the brilliance of its music,
It cures the broken path of a confused heart.
Its light showing us why our inside’s create a beautiful outside,
Showing why light must have darkness.
The Youth
In a sea of neon lights, sparkles of bright green
And fruiting bursts of orange-red glow break upon our skin.
This sunset amidst the dancing water,
Permeates the air as slowly as the candle smoke.
Vanilla scents keep us company
As we purge in our chairs,
Our plump bodies prespire
And allow tiny droplets of water to surface.
As we bake in our sauna of love
We forget about time,
As others join us, we simply grow.
The eternal
The black leaf continues to float in the wind.
Oh it seems so peaceful as it continues to dance in the air.
With every turn it mimics immortality,
Creating an illusion of force.
The black leaf, so crisp in structure,
Simply allows the wind to play with it.
As the wind obliges, the black leaf grows addiction to its pleasure.
Slowly the wind feels a growing pain.
Gloom begins to hum its melody.
The black leaf enjoys the droaning music,
And grows addicted to its saddistic pleasure
The wind, a victim of its own character-
Shall live in misery forever.
Drunken Nights
Lightly we tip toe across the floors.
We will only wake our loved ones if we must,
Therefore we shall be silent,
Slaving the night through flocks of chores,
In a drunken buzz, fantisizing of whores.
To our rescue they shall come,
So gently to our touch, they shall fall to our worship.
As it seems to every man we are the rulers of our world,
Yet not one of us may bloom a flower from our hand,
One may think as it seems, we are confused from where we stand.
Of course hope lingers as it must,
Even the rancid, muddy swamps bear lilly pads as enamorate emblems of seniority.
And is light not beautiful as it breaks through the leaves of the trees above?
But to the drunken nights of those that fear,
Hope will float too thickly, bearing it hard to breathe.
Who is so great to impose another’s life?
We stand here towering over our subjects.
We expect them to bleed from their knees
Before standing to kiss our rings.
If we see blood we will be disgusted.
We will order them to bathe,
As our servants must appear well kept.
How dare they seem unhappy in the slightest sense,
They must be grateful to be in our presence.
As we grow bored of them, they will be ridden of.
We shall not bother ourselves with their after affairs.
We shall replace them without a care,
And for their nightmares, not lose one hair.
One day we shall wake up and see our servants towering over us.
We will look down to our reflections in the puddle,
Our heads bald, without a hair to spare.
I will be posting more soon
God bless
Thank you for sharing.
Alternately, how about you just stfu>fo, you trite, clichéd waste of skin.
Damn Tab, that was beasty.
hth,
Never did acquire much of a taste for The Three Stooges. Your poetry is moving, beautiful, thought-provoking and my first sentence has nothing to do with you or your works.
