Poking Fun At Altruism Once Again.

Are hospitals in existence for business or altruism?

Why don’t hospitals solely exist for altruistic motives?

The only way they can exist and attempt to be altruistic, is to have the resources that only a sold business plan can provide. It’s both joker. Trying to completely seperate any two things is the definition of idealism. Nothing is all business, and nothing is all altruism. All things are both. That’s the truth, the idea that there’s only one or the other counters common sense. Hoping that business beats altruism or vice versa is the job of an idealist.

Only people can have motives and the motives of people can never really be observed. All you can do is observe their actions and respond according to your own preferences.

The same observable action can be motivated by either altruism or business and even by a mix of both.

Depends from hospital to hospital.

Because nothing solely exist for any one motive.
