This test would misleadingly make me seem like I am politically ‘middle of the road’ when in fact I think my extreme opinions cancelled eachother out.
Isn’t it a contradiction to be socially libertarian and economically left? How do you seperate social freedom from the freedom to work for yourself, determine what you can do with your own recources, freedom to have resources and wealth to begin with, and make your own economic decisions?
Yep. I’m a right winger. But seriously, shouldn’t there be a boundary condition to the effect that you can’t logically support any more social freedom than you do economic freedom, since economic freedom is a precondition for social freedom?
I just think it’s weird that so many people philosophically run along a line that cuts straight through a few logical boundary conditions that I would think would make sense.
freedom for ALL is not the same as everyone having the freedom to exploit poor people. somebody has to pay for their kids school if they cant or else its not a free country.
i have no idea what you are talking about. you can have free speech at the same time as taxes.

ive already revolutionized my bedroom into a communist utopia. its such a mess! im coming for yours next, mrm.
i think the test was a little too restrictive. it asked if i thought corporations would always eventually do whats best. i said strongly disagree but only because the govt doesnt do anything to entice them to do right, which it could. then it asked if there needs to always be two groups of people, one who gives orders and one who takes them. i said yes, but i think that was interpreted as communist when it could just be anti-laissez faire.
oh well im happy with the results, even if the totally wrong right wingers will never think my ideas are correct like they all obviously are.

I came in at -4.88 and -4.10 Just a bit left of center, but semi-balanced.
The test on OKcupid works better IMHO. I landed between Gorbachdv, Pope John Paul II and Darth Vader. Pretty accurate, actually.
