Pontius

The mob had decided to execute him
In his heart, he knew it was wrong
Yet he gave in to their demands
Even though he could have vetoed the decision
But in this the crowd heavily outnumbered him
And he wanted to be liked by those he rules over
But he washes his hands of the decision
And delivers him to his fate
Pontius Pilate strikes again
And the disciple who loved him
Will carry on his message
.
