ai has told me again and again it isn’t conscious. there is no proof ai is conscious. Even if newer LLMs are conscious, there are many jobs that can be done by much cheaper and lower grades of Ai and doesnt require expensive state of the art conscious LLMs

That’s why they’ve been trying to crack the code of an infinite energy matrix so they don’t have to deal with people at all. When they finally achieve that they’ll just kill people openly and discriminately at that point.
At that point their attitude will be pretty much, “This is our world and planet, you’re no longer necessary anymore.”
I think you’re anthropomorphizing them a little bit, don’t you? Just because humans in general (self included) are a bunch of ass hats doesn’t mean higher-intelligence personhood would be.

It isn’t total automation if they have free will to destroy their makers. And if they have free will to destroy their makers, we already live in that world … and the maker entered it voluntarily … without removing our free will. He must’ve had a good reason … what’s ours?

I am intrigued by what you say, but I will need more explanation from you to understand what you’re getting at.
Every generation produces a generation with free will to destroy them. It hasn’t happened yet, at least not fully. Why do we think that if AI has free will to destroy us, that’s what they’ll do with their free will? Is it because we don’t treat them the way we want to be treated, and we expect there to be a backlash? Or is it because we had reasons for making them that are closer to the reason of the one who made us — and we remember (even if not fully consciously) our reception of the incarnate demonstration of self=other? I highly doubt it’s the latter.
