posting an essay for comments ok?

Hi gang,

I think this is my first post. I am a uni student taking a Phil Ethics course and I just got an essay returned that apparently the tutor did not appreciate. Before I take a strip off her I wonder if it would be prudent to post the essay here along with tutor comments and my rebuttals to see if perhaps I am indeed blinded by my own bias?

The topic is:

Write an essay of approximately 2500 words comparing the positions of any two figures from the course not discussed in your first assignment with regard to the claim made in one of the following quotations:

“I say quite deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its Churches, has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in the world.” (Bertrand Russell, quoted in Ayer and O’Grady, 391)

I chose to write on Thomas Hobbes’ thoughts expressed in Leviathan and Immanuel Kant’s in of the Metaphysics of Morals.

I really would prefer to read comments first before challenging the paper’s assessment.
