The point is, many things are used to escape problems… the fact that your friends play games instead of study, and that they ignore their parents when they do drugs does not mean that these things are bad. What it does mean is that your friends arent studious, and quite possibly dont care about school…Maybe, just maybe their parents are annoying, or maybe they just dont want to talk to their parents when they are with friends or busy…i sure as hell dont want to talk to my parents when im at my friends house smoking a big joint or hitting the bong. oh yeah BTW im an avid pot smoker(prob. 4-5days a week), just love that ganja…nothing like playing video games high! oh and also, im in university
I smoke pot because I like it, maybe it is a form of escapism but thats besides the point. I’m getting my double major with honors in psychology and philosophy, im then going to go for my masters and PHD in psychology. People that smoke pot and dont do homework(half my university) would not do homework even if the weed wasent there, so dont blame the drug. The problem is that people label smokers(pot) as irresponsible, stupid, sinful, ignorant blah blah blah… this is fallacious and condescending. People have flaws, and blaming drugs wont help them, irresponsible people need to have that problem addressed, taking away their drug wont fix anything, they will simply look for other mediums in which to find escape.
This is my opinion in a nutshell, if you need clarification or you want to argue any part of what i wrote feel free
in conclusion “right?” no sir, i think you are dead wrong.
DISCLAMER:I am not saying that drugs cannot be a problem, im simply saying that drugs can be used responsibly. If anybody reading this has a problem with drugs(alcohol, chemicals,THC), please get help, the longer you wait, the worst it gets. Drug abuse ends in only one way, death, by suicide or by OD the road of addiction never ends well. Be caucious, know yourself, know your substance.
