Presuptions

Most ideologies have a series of supporting arguments, ideas, feelings, etc.

“Realness”, for example, requires the presumptions that real things make sense, exist, have qualities, are knowable, can be categorized, is being interpreted correctly, etc.

One of the things, for example, i believe now is that truth can contradict itself.
Contradiction is something that some old philosophers didn’t like.
They personally didn’t like it, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t real or true.

Contradiction for example, exists on a human level, where our genes are set to self destruct,
but our genes also tell us to live and to fear death, etc.

I’m not good at giving examples of contradiction though.
I’m sure you can imagine some.
That’s just one example.

Joker’s Nihilism doesn’t, and he contradicts himself… all… the… time.

Everything regarding human beings is contradictive and I’ve never claimed to be perfect regarding my beliefs although I do pride myself on trying to be thoroughly consistent.

At least I don’t go around hiding behind pretentious idealistic certainties much like your paleoconservative beliefs do.
