Problems and contradictions within the political left

So as everybody knows by now I consider myself a Marxist, communist, and overall socialist to the point where I believe in state communism.

With that being said I am also culturally conservative.

For me there are some things that I think political leftism gets things totally wrong.

1.) Zionism. The modern left will say Israel is an imperial colony of the United States in total subservience. In some way that makes sense as a sort of military encampment in the Middle East the United States promotes to acquire oil and petroleum resources yet beyond the economic scope there seems to be so much Zionist influences within western governments especially in the religious sense one wonders who is really controlling who. I find the left’s explanation of Zionism to be overly simplistic. More importantly I don’t think the modern political left understands Judaism at all.

2.) Feminism. Anybody that knows me understands I am not very sympathetic with feminism at all especially with radical feminism infecting western societies everywhere. More importantly I think conflating everything to do with the male patriarchy is nonsense.

I would also argue that women in general have a lot more power over men in many ways where the historical analysis of saying men have all the historical power over women completely misses the mark. Then there is my views regarding sexual capital and of course women control that I would argue. Definitely throws me into the anti feminist camp.

3.) Homosexuality. Why exactly should it be promoted in society when homosexuals themselves are a population minority? Seems pointless to me.

4.) Racism, ethno nationalism, and colonial capitalism. The basic notion of the left is that white ethnic Europeans are the cause of so much suffering around the world with colonial capitalism historically that they believe Europeans have an obligation to repairing the world that they have damaged.

I would argue white ethnic Europeans have been a victim of colonial capitalism themselves and the idea that the west must open up its national borders to the entire world is an absurd one. Mass foreign immigration into the west is a capitalist labor tool.

We can have racial ethnic peace and cooperation but that doesn’t mean one should sacrifice themselves completely for the other. There needs to be more reasonable dialogue on this subject and so far nobody has constructed such.

You basically pointed out the central theme of recruitment on the left.
Every point you mentioned is the exact same thing:

  1. Find a disenfranchised minority, doesnt matter if its the working class or any kind of fringe trashpile, also doesnt matter if you have to literally import them from Somalia → Just make sure you have a fringe minority

  2. Start grooming them, and telling them that the world owes them things, that they are being oppressed, that its in the common interest of every human being that justice is served for a better future.

  3. Present yourself as their representative, the one who fights for them, the person who is going to change the world for the better, and use them as a shield to deflect away from your obvious power grab:
Criticism of Zionism → Your opponent is a dirty antisemite
Criticism of feminism → Bigoted chud mysoginist
Criticism of homosexuality → Intolerant homophobe
Criticism of pushing a race war → Check your privilege you fucking white cracker

  4. Shoot them in the head the moment they become a liability. Just make sure its not too obvious cause that would invoke a backlash

It’s clear certainly from my point of view that there are inherent problems on the left and right political spectrum where trying to bridge the gap is no easy task to do as it is a Herculean effort.

While I am a leftist I like to think of myself as a political reformer because I understand the various problems that exist. Nonetheless I am sure other leftists wouldn’t like my interpretation of political leftism where politically I don’t seem to fit anywhere as I am constantly told. I am sure people from the left and the right look at my posts or writings thinking to themselves, “Who the hell is this guy? That cretin!”

What is clear is that there exists internationally powerful superwealthy individuals or interests that thrive on creating chaos within politically left and right spheres as a way of protecting themselves. Divide and conquer.

The problems of the political right is its insistent obedience to economic financial capitalism no matter the negative consequences and the problems on the political left are a bunch of hysterical cultural absurdities where none of it makes any logical sense. Trying to address poblems of both you get attacked by supporters on both opposite ends.

I try my best within reason to listen to the opinions of all sides as I try to remain balanced in my approach to things.

The biggest question of course politically is, can the modern political left and political right ever be reconciled together? I try my best in reconciling both being that I have leftist and socially conservative viewpoints myself but even with that there are extremists on both political aisles who want no reconciliation at all whatsoever. That’s a tough position to mediate the two.

i actually agree with everything you said i was just wondering what you meant by this:

im not fully sure what you mean by promoted. if you mean homosexuality being presented as a not evil thing then we might disagree as while only a small portion of the population, homosexuals still deserve respect. if you mean representation in the media then… yes it’s pretty pointless. though i’d argue it boosts morale as many do appreciate being shown in the media.

have a nice day

Homosexuality shouldn’t be promoted publicly at all. It should remain in private life only remaining there.

would you say the same about heterosexuality then? that it shouldn’t be shown publicly either and remain completely in private life? because i’d say the promotion of heterosexuality in public is a much greater issue than that of homosexuality

Some of the modern left will say this. Some treat it as an independent country they don’t want the US, for example, to give money to anymore. They don’t want the US and other countries to support it anymore. Of course there are going to be people who are left who support Israel, even now. Perhaps more common amongst Leftist Jewish people. Though there are a lot of Leftist Jewish people protesting against Israel now also.

I think the piece you are correctly touching on is that the Left is less likely than someone from the Right to think that the control flow goes the other way. From Israel to the United States, that the latter is in a way colonized.

Heterosexuality is the majority norm, the majority norm wins out.

@greenfuse

A majority of Jews are Zionists and historically this has always been the case.

Political Zionism is just a manifestation of religious Judaism.

How are you defining Zionism?

I’m not quite sure what you mean here. I want to mention that most US Jews are secular, but that might not be relevant to what you meant here.

okay. homosexual “promotion” (whatever it is you mean by that) doesn’t cancel out heterosexual promotion in media. if you think the representation of gay people in the media is pointless, and that in should remain in private fine. but the same should apply to heterosexual promotion because them being the majority doesn’t mean that they deserve visibility and gay people dontokay. homosexual “promotion” (whatever it is you mean by that) doesn’t cancel out heterosexual promotion in media. if you think the representation of gay people in the media is pointless, and that in should remain in private fine. but the same should apply to heterosexual promotion because them being the majority doesn’t mean that they deserve visibility and gay people dont

It’s not about deserve. Normal sexuality gets publicity because it draws both audiences and artists, it beckons to people. It happens naturally.

Gay publicity is an artificial political project, largely there to remind people that Big Brother is always watching. The point is not the gay sex, the point is flexing power, showing how deep they can shove an artificial project down humanity’s throat. “Submit, or be at odds.”

fair enough. but i’m curious as to how exactly it reminds people “big brother” is “watching”. can you expand on that? thank you

Because it is an artificial project that would not occur naturally. Thus the power it takes to plaster it everywhere, physichally and psychicly, plus marginalize any critiques, is considerable.

you think homosexuality is an artificial project? wow

The publicity of it.

and the publicity of heterosexuality is “natural” because?

Because it is what happens when nobody does anything about it.

im so sorry lol but does anything about what exactly?

About the publicity of sexuality.

Normal sexuality just appeals to people naturally as a subject of art.

Without some big political project, gay sex tends to get pretty slim slices. It makes it, but marginally.
