Lately I have been reading extensively on peak oil, the disappearance of earth’s natural resources, and humanity’s destruction to the environment by that of overpopulation.
My conclusion is that humanity is very close to it’s zenith of self destruction to it’s self and the earth’s natural environment.
Upon the understanding of peak oil and the inability to find a energy replacement for mass usage civilization within the next couple of hundred years will go through a radical transformation that will only signify the complete death of modern contemporary society.
With modern society being eighty five percent dependent currently on petroleum fossil fuels it’s destruction is guaranteed with the understanding of peak oil.
Other factors like peak water and massive amounts of food shortages for a overpopulated planet also leads me to similar conclusions.
It is evident that globally humanity through overpopulation is unable to meet it’s own agricultural demands and that given the eradication of useable top soil is reaching it’s full conclusion only supports this.
All in all modern civilization’s inherent doom has never been more clear to me.
