How does the string transfer energy with neither matter nor medium?
I tend to agree with you and Einstein that matter converts with energy. That explains for me how a monist Prime Mover can create out of nothing with only Mind (form) and energy (for potency).
I don’t know how to answer the position that chemical energy is thought.
After some thought, however, it seems that in this example between the grey-matter and the synapses’ activation, the synapses’ activation (the form) is the physical, and the grey-matter (the matter) must be the meta-physical – because the energy depends on the synapses materially, therefore the synapses are more at the root of being; more material – like metaphysical “string”. Is this correct?

The more I’m trying to think philosophically, the more I become aware of the philosophy of language. In trying to define the concept of metaphysics, we argue with each other’s definition endlessly. That’s only natural to me, considering language’s imperfect nature. To what extent our thought is limited by our language is a matter I know little of. So the best I can say about metaphysics right now is: Our brain’s response to whatever’s sensed by our nerves.
I just created a new word called ‘narcoshadic’. I means wearing sunglasses at night. Now you know this word and it’s meaning. You’ll probably never use this word and will eventually forget it, as will I. Does this word now exist metaphysically? Does it have any physical form? It certainly has physical form in the material of our brain (memory). Does it surpass the physical when we are consciously thinking this word?
Negative. Because the word came to its existance in your mind without being transfered by your sensual organs and the nerves system. It is a creation of your brain on its own.
Think of the vibrations that arise from plucking a guitar string, and you’ll have somewhat of an idea of the relationship between string particles and their forces. In order for any matter to exist or have any meaningful form, forces of energy must be present. Energy is what allows the physical world to exist, and without it, there would be nothing. Our brain operates in two different methods; one is as a response to external stimulation and the other is through thoughts which do not relate to external stimulation. The synapses are more at the root of being because we can create them internally,they are not dependent upon sense data to exist. My mind can be used to interpret what I see,hear,smell,in the real world, but these same responses could also be acheived by opening my
skull and physically stimulating the parts of my brain which are responsible for interpreting various sense data. All of these things could be an illusion. So what is more real then, the tangible world of matter and sense data, or the more intangible world of thought?
p.s. I’m curious, how old are you?
If you were to take a new born child and cutoff all sense data from that child until it was 20 years old what kind of thoughts do you think it would have at 20 years old? Assuming you could keep the child alive for that long.
If you were to take a health, well educated 20 year old adult and cutoff all sense data from them for 20 years what kind of thoughts do you think they would have after 20 years?
