I like them. How does one go about getting a quip below their user name? I hope it doesn’t involve having a deep philosophical understanding or uncanny intelligence or I am kind of screwed.
If I ever get a quip below my user name, I want it to say:
“Master of the Conditioned Response.”
if this forum still works the same way, then only a MOD or administrator can do that.

the way it used to work apparently, is ben would do it. but because carleas is the admin now,the quickest way would be to send him a PM about it-if i’m right.

If I read you correctly, the board you mean has different software than this one (I think it runs on SimpleMachines, while this one is phpBB). The feature you mention is not a part of the default version of the phpBB software. There may be a modification that adds that functionality, but mods carry inherent risks. So far, I haven’t considerer it worth the risk.
I am always considering other software and upgrades though. Is that a feature that’s important to you? If there’s a lot of demand for something like that, I can look into adding that functionality. To my mind, the current system works fine, and the alternative is risky; There’s a nonzero cost and no benefit.
If this is something that is a deal-breaker for a substantial number of people, the benefit might outweigh the cost.

i enjoy the hi-cal features of the other site.My only concern for this site is secret bannings.And thats not a topic for this thread. being under much burden myself,i don’t want to place burdens on anyone else.
At one time i wanted my own title under my user name changed to “Drifter”.But i guess i lost interest.
