Race and Technology

Holistic synergystic processing and integration of data of my immediate surroundings, prior experiences, combined with academic studies, things I’ve learned from documentaries, studies in africa, people i’ve talked with who’ve visited africa, etc.

no i am using both sets of data, to inform my opinion, such as studies, videos, and documentaries about africa

now you are getting too emotional here, I never said anything about genocide. I meant hypothetically, for fun, if you had an imaginary nation you were in control of, and you, for pretend, were to replace the whites with blacks, how they are replaced doesn’t matter, they could just move on their own, its imaginary. What would your predictions be? The predictions cannot be only fantasy, but must follow physics

it selects for both intelligence and larger brains.

some websites say cold gave the cromagnon intelligence, other websites say the cold gave cromagnon larger brains. No contradiction. The only contradiction would be if a website said smaller brains = more intelligence, which would be absurd

i will leave satyr to debate you on that, like a videogame boss i exit the battle.

But those shouldn’t have equal evidentiary weight, right? It will depend on the question, but if you’re talking about the genetic correlates of intelligence, “data of my immediate surroundings” is not anywhere near as valuable as academic studies.

If I sound emotional, it’s because your hypothetical is at best a weird distraction from seriously engaging with a topic that affects billions of people. It’s underspecified to the point of meaninglessness: are we replacing white doctors with random black people, or with black doctors? Every white Harvard grad with a black Harvard grad? Which black people are replacing the white people who have relatives in the House of Lords? Or do those relationships not matter in your model of a country?

What if we do a fun pretend where we imagine your mom is replaced by a black, what would your predictions be? Be sure to follow physics!

People are not fungible.

im saying hypotheticals of an imaginary, all black nation. Can it compete with Europe. Can it compete with the united states. I dare not speak of any real all black nations in real life, that cannot, because you will make excuses, saying “confounded variables”.

also i thought i told you i was fleeing this discussion until the satyr gets back?

There are existing majority-black nations that have higher GDP than existing, majority white European nations (nominal, PPP, or per capita).

The percentage of black residents of every major US city is higher than the percentage of black residents of every European nation, and those US cities have much higher GDP than plenty of European nations.

There’s no way to run your hypothetical that gets us closer to understanding the truth than actual, existing nations. We can play all the same games about culture and confounding variables in the hypothetical too.

.
Funny how countries love to define race/ethnicity by GDP, but not by crime..
.

Our stats!

Afghans and Eritreans are 20 times more likely to be convicted of sex offences, while Albanians are 153 times more likely to be convicted of drug offences.

What are you talking about?

As of 2025, Gabon’s per capita GDP ($8,842) is higher than that of Bosnia and Herzegovina ($8,362), Moldova ($8,260), Belarus ($7,875), Azerbaijan ($7,604), Kosovo ($7,147), and Ukraine ($6,861). Equatorial Guinea’s is $7,750, and Botswana’s is $7,021.

Mississippi, the state with the highest percentage of African Americans, has a per capita GDP ($53,061 in 2024) higher than France ($46,792), Italy ($41,091), Spain ($36,192), Estonia ($32,760), etc. etc. Mississippi’s per capita GDP is roughly the same as Germany.

In 2020, Jackson, Mississippi, was more than 78% black, and had a per capita GDP of about $190,000, which is higher than every European country. I don’t have more recent numbers, but Jackson’s population is decreasing and it’s GDP is increasing, so per capita GDP is likely yet further ahead of Europe in 2025.

@Carleas

Undermines Carleas’ arguments in this thread completely…

This video popped up in my Recommend a week and half ago, forgot to post it until now.

I don’t see how, can you elaborate on that? I haven’t mentioned money in this thread.
