Race and Technology

Ha!!
Pathetic, you are…desperate.

You have no clue why the Africans were dominated by tribes that had migrated into less hospitable environments…forcing them to adapt or die.
You have no idea why innovations occurred outside Africa whereas in Africa IQ stagnated.

“Necessity is the mother of invention.”

Stop parroting google,…and those propaganda books you read…start thinking.

Aeroplane was invented by a guy in India before the Wright Bros.

Still not subsaharans in the scoreboard yet. Sculptor mentions crossbows and asians and egyptians. I’ll chime in.

Here is a list of all the subsaharan inventions:

100% Original Sub-Saharan African Inventions and Achievements (Not Copied or Learned from Outsiders)

The following list includes only those inventions and technological achievements that originated independently in sub-Saharan Africa, with no evidence of being copied or learned from outside visitors. Timestamps are included where possible.

Prehistoric and Early Human Innovations

  • Stone Tools (Lomekwi, Oldowan, Acheulean)
    • 3.3 million years ago (Lomekwi, Kenya): Oldest known stone tools, predating any similar finds elsewhere168.
    • 2.3 million years ago (Oldowan, East Africa): Early toolmaking by Homo habilis168.
    • 1.5 million years ago (Acheulean, East Africa): Hand-axes and advanced stone tools by Homo erectus168.
  • Use of Fire
    • 1.5 million years ago: Independent mastery of fire by Homo erectus in Africa16.
  • Bone Tools and Blades
    • 90,000–60,000 years ago (Southern/Eastern Africa): Early use of bone tools and backed blades, later spreading to other continents168.
  • Abstract Art
    • 82,000 years ago (Taforalt, Morocco): World’s oldest known abstract art (shell necklace)1.
    • 77,000 years ago (Blombos Cave, South Africa): Oldest rock art, predating similar art elsewhere1.
  • Early Chemistry
    • ~100,000 years ago (Southern Africa): Production of ochre-based compounds using specific recipes, indicating early chemical knowledge1.

Metallurgy and Material Science

  • Iron Smelting and Steel Production
    • ~500 BCE (Uganda): Bantu peoples developed high-grade carbon steel using preheated forced-draft furnaces, a method not seen in Europe until the 19th century18.
    • ~1st century CE (Haya, Tanzania): Indigenous steel-forging technology, independently developed and predating similar processes in Europe by centuries18.
  • Tall Natural-Draft Furnaces
    • Medieval period (Southern Africa): Use of tall furnaces for iron and copper smelting, with no evidence of outside influence5.
  • Slag-Tapping Smelting
    • Medieval period (Southern Africa): Innovation in slag-tapping for iron and copper, a local adaptation5.

Agriculture and Domestication

  • Domestication of Indigenous Crops
    • c. 5000 BCE (Sahel region): Domestication of sorghum and African rice (Oryza glaberrima), both unique to Africa1.
    • Other indigenous crops: Oil palm, raffia palm, African yam, black-eyed peas, Bambara groundnut, cowpea, fonio, pearl millet, kola nut1.
  • Domestication of Guinea Fowl
    • c. 5000 BCE (Sahel region): First domestication of the small guineafowl, unique to Africa1.
  • Anthropogenic Dark Earths (AfDES)
    • Prehistoric to present (West Africa): Creation of highly fertile soils through palm oil production pits and organic waste, resulting in sustainable agroforestry systems1.

Architecture and Urbanism

  • Great Zimbabwe Stone Architecture
    • 11th–15th centuries CE (Zimbabwe): Unique dry-stone architecture, with no evidence of outside influence7.

Astronomy and Calendars

  • Astronomical Knowledge
    • Ancient Mali: Development of an accurate astronomical calendar, considered indigenous7.

Historical events show us that migrating into less hospitable environments did not only change skin pigmentation, but naturally selected individual traits that could innovate methods of surviving adverse environmental conditions.
Adapt or die.

Their ancestors descended into Europe and norther India, due to the Ice Age, and dominated local populations…because ‘hard times create hard men’…and necessity is the mother of invention…
Comfort atrophies…
Crocodiles haven’t changed much for thousands of years, because they didn’t have to.

Because, who didn’t already know! That black history is REALITY HISTORY!  :joy: :upside_down_face:

BRO didn’t you know, I mean don’t you KNOW bro like, black ppl invented like EVERYTHHING in the WHOLLE WORLD like omg WOW black Afrikans are like THE EPITOMEEE OF EVERY AWESOMNENESS WOWWWWWWW we owe our very lives and existence all things technologies everything to BLACK AFRIKKANSSSSS

  :innocent:

..oh, wait… um, ah, i should clarify about that…

no, we don’t.

White people are based, epic and smart af.

Prove me wrong. You cannot. We made everything.

Game over

I will still maintain my position that all races or ethnicities have their different strengths and weaknesses where none of that makes one superior over the other.

As for the African ethnicity we could say their athleticism is their strength as well as their physical adaptability to environment as the African continent can be one of the most inhospitable places to live on planet earth. Certainly their ability for warlike conquest we could say is a strength of theirs as well that even brought ancient Egypt to its knees a few times throughout its history [Nubia], but that is also their inherent weakness as well because it causes a lot of constant tribal infighting.

Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses, strengths, and weaknesses…

More racist outbursts from Silenus Kakkikantaros

The successes of civilisations are temporary.
Currently the Idiocracy that is the USA is now in its final stages because it has voted for the Fat Cheeto.

His primary school understanding of history shows. The truth is more complicated than that.

Cliche.
Despite generational oppression, racism and denial of human rights…

Black inventors have made lasting impacts on the world. George Washington Carver revolutionized agriculture with hundreds of plant-based inventions. Garrett Morgan created the traffic signal and a gas mask prototype. Madam C.J. Walker developed hair care products for Black women and became the first self-made female millionaire. Frederick McKinley Jones invented mobile refrigeration, transforming food and medical transport. Lonnie G. Johnson, a former NASA engineer, invented the Super Soaker and developed energy technologies.
Black artists have made a huge mark on the art world. Jacob Lawrence told powerful stories of Black life through bold, colorful paintings. Augusta Savage was a sculptor during the Harlem Renaissance who used her art to fight for equality. Jean-Michel Basquiat mixed graffiti and fine art to speak out on race and power. Kara Walker creates striking cut-paper scenes that dive deep into history and identity. And Alma Thomas wowed people with her bright, abstract paintings inspired by nature and space.

Donald Trump. Case Closed.

… oh yes . And you too.

Still clueless.
All he has is ad hom accusations and claims that he’s read books, alluding to a more “complex understanding,” yet displays a simplicity rooted in modern conventions and emotions.
He has no clue how intelligence developed and why adverse environments accelerate natural selection.
All he know is what they told him and he googled…and it felt good.

Read this mind’s list of “inventions”, proving, in his mind, racial parity:

Madam C.J. Walker developed hair care products for Black women and became the first self-made female millionaire. Frederick McKinley Jones invented mobile refrigeration, transforming food and medical transport. Lonnie G. Johnson, a former NASA engineer, invented the Super Soaker and developed energy technologies.

What?!!!

The “super soaker”?
My god man…mobile refrigerators…hair care products…are you serious?

Jacob Lawrence told powerful stories of Black life through bold, colorful paintings.

What?

A

Augusta Savage was a sculptor during the Harlem Renaissance who used her art to fight for equality. Jean-Michel Basquiat mixed graffiti and fine art to speak out on race and power. Kara Walker creates striking cut-paper scenes that dive deep into history and identity. And Alma Thomas wowed people with her bright, abstract paintings inspired by nature and space.

:joy:

My god…no wonder they were dominated…
I bet he can find many blacks who became rich by selling equal rights…
He forgot all those “creative” rappers and twerkers…
Fuck man…this is apathetic.

This guy does not comprehend what is a game changing innovation…confusing it with contributions…

Go through the list…could any of it have prevented the black man’s enslavement?
No philosophical insights…no revolution in physics, astronomy, biology…arts and crafts…super soakers, and graffiti…
He forgot peanut butter.

I do love whiteness. I prefer living in white cities more than other cities.

I do not want to live on a planet that only has whites though, because boredom. I find other races entertaining. I do not watch pornography very often, but I like to have a variety of content. White only is like going to the store and only having standard potato chips.

You have it in reverse.

They voted for the Cheeto because the USA is an idiocracy in its final stages.

editing hold on

Africa is where homo sapiens emerged.
Europe is not only climatically more demanding but also geographically…
80,000 years ago the weather was not as it is now.
Was the ice age a real time?

Was the ice age a real time?
Currently, we are in a warm interglacial that began about 11,000 years ago. The last period of glaciation, which is often informally called the “Ice Age,” peaked about 20,000 years ago. At that time, the world was on average probably about 10°F (5°C) colder than today, and locally as much as 40°F (22°C) colder.

Adverse environments naturally selected individuals that had the creativity to survive, and pass on their genes.

I know it’s distressing, but human differences are not only physical…The environment does not only affect the body, leaving the brain unaffected.
Socioeconomic disparities are linked to IQ disparities.

While the tribes that left their primordial environments were struggling to survive, the tribes back in Africa experienced no great change, they experienced no evolutionary pressure, so they remained as they were…in general.
This is a major factor explaining why Asian and Caucasian population developed civilizations that never emerged in sub-Saharan Africa.

Notice the timeline…

The oldest remains that have been found of constructed dwellings are remains of huts that were made of mud and branches around 17,000 BC at the Ohalo site (now underwater) near the edge of the Sea of Galilee. The Natufians built houses, also in the Levant, around 10,000 BC.

Racial divergence occurred BEFORE there were any settlements…so society cannot have caused them.

Not sure why you replied that to me, I have never denied there being African inventors, artists, or scientists. You have those all around the world from all different races and ethnicities.

In Europe because of the long harsh winters it has been said this caused cognitive mental development within white Europeans to revolve around long term planning and such. So yes, I get the gist of your argument with that.

Environmental factors playing a role in the development of different races and ethnicities overtime is not something that can be ignored.
