The VP spot is “not worth a bucket of warm spit”. No one takes McCain’s choice seriously. It is an election between two men, and Obama will win.
Of course, what you aren’t mentioning is how McCain has many more problems within his base. The Religious Right, the foundation of the Republican party, doesn’t much care for him. Good luck convincing undecideds when the base is on the fence. The Dems have no such trouble.
The only incentive to vote they’re giving these right wing nutjobs who probably will sit home come November, is the idea that Barack is someone we really don’t want in power. But…tough shit with that. Obama is just too moderate. He’s not that far off the left that pro-life, pro-gun, or pro-religion die-hards won’t tolerate him. The problem for the Republicans is that even those who despise the Democrats like Obama, and in the end, McCains base will just skip this election, and Obama’s will swarm the voting booths.
The only morbidly interesting thing to come out of all this will be the tactic FOX News uses to transform stigma for protest of government and president into honor and patriocism. I’m sure O’Reilly and Olberman will be exhanging notes.

Biden better wear depends. At the end of the debate he will be in the corner crying after wetting himself and shitting his pants. That is if he does not quit the VP before the debate. That would be my advise for him. Being number two in the United Communist Party of America is not worth the public humiliation.
