Atmospheric. I particuarly like the reference to ‘infant waves’ although am not sure why. Curious about the reference to white fog being warm and comforting but that is the tenor of the poem, perhaps. There’s a comfort in being enveloped in the fog. Nice work.

I love it.

This poem reminded me of Tom Hanks movie [i]Castaway[i]. It particularly reminded me of the end when he says to be patient today, because you never know what the tide may bring in tomorrow!

Asuperb poem Rainey featuring some truly well-crafted lines. Hi-lights for me are: “…in from nowhere…”; “…will it embrace or devour…”; and “…at one with the white either way…”
