I have just recently began to question the world around me and am very interested in philosophy. As i go throu this website, i find the topics to be interesting but i get lost in some of the things you guys reference.
Anyone have any readings to suggest?? I recently took a trip to the library and they had close to zilch
Literature of all different types of perspective

the only book i can recommend is Forever Undecided by: Raymond Smullyan

Just pick up anything related to what you want to read. Trial and error.

It depends what your into I started reading classic texts then moved on to pre-socratic philosophers then on to Plato and Aristotle and from there it was like more whatever I felt like. But I am also into religions poetry and literature and some psychology in addition to philosophy. I read wikipedias alot also.

That should at least provide some ideas. Alot of the time what I did was in that history of literature link I gave u I clicked on the most important civilizations and then crossreferenced to see what the most important texts were. If you want like a detailed list of what I own or a list of something specific let me know.

This site got a philosophical text archive also: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=171866
