Reason, Innovation And The Cure.

Many think that by utilizing reason, innovation and technology we will find a way to forever segragate conflict, destruction or violence from our societies altogether in some tranquil equilibrium between ourselves or the earth.

Yet through history this is not so. Why? Because desire is elastic and un-ending. There is no end to the conflict of desire.

For every time we bring a end to one conflict a new one arises in it’s place.

Infact by utilizing reason, innovation, science and technology where we create new artifacts or creations to be obssessed with we only create new things to fight about not to mention we create new conflicts which brings about newer forms of suffering on people or life all around us.

Reason doesn’t cure conflict, suffering or the violent destruction that exists in our lives, it only creates a greater number of it since reason is nothing more than a extension of ourselves and our emotions.

Reason creates new forms of conflict and things to fight about in every historical era where it is utilized in that violent forms of conflict become stacked on older forms conflict until you have a far greater number of conflicts then from what you started out with in the beginning of time or in the era of pre-history and the veil of ignorance which were existences before the concept of “reason” was ever developed.

At what point is “reason” a self defeating venture or a worthless cause?

At what point does man slay reason in outright rejection?

At what point do we not call reason a beautiful lie or chimera?

When it is seen as a delusional progression rather than what it is, an evolutionary step in human language/development.

I don’t see the need to slay reason; what delusion does it cause, except from the person who created it? A person attempts to justify delusions through reason–reason itself is just a tool.

When it’s practical and pragmatic. When it is–reason explains why everything is the way it is right now, through history, sociality, evolution, morality, philosophy, science, biology, chemistry, and everything. The reasons that this world has arrived at its present conclusions are precisely because of the ‘reasons’. To make sense and understand these reasons, a person must be reasonable.

The problem with lies and chimeras arrives when reason mixes with delusional idealisms and metaphysics. However, since many of these lies are so beautiful, it is perhaps impossible to avoid them. For example, how shall I base my perspective on reality when it is completely malleable to my impressions? I literally have the option to create reality as I see fit. I can choose to describe it however I want to, and I should. But truth still holds value to me; I will first explain the world, truth, and reality reasonably and then I will destroy or create a reality in this world as I feel compelled to do.
