Are we here to experience only one lifetime? I’d like to be an astronaut or a pope or a president but I cannot accomplish all of them in this lifetime. How about a baby that dies shortly after it’s birth, can it be given another chance to improve itself. If you believe in this concept. what do you want to be in your next life, where do you want to live and why do you choose them? I’ll start. I think I want to be born in the middle east, become a leader of that nation and contribute to peace on earth.
since i dont know what happens to us after we die, i think its a possobillity, id rather become a god or be alive in an alternate reality
returning as another member of the all retarded human race isnt for me.
i would like to return as myself but with all the knowledge and wisdom i had when i died.
a world-famous cult musician. influence and coolness.
The Fonz, but with an innate fear of water.
I wish to be reincarnated either far in the future or far in the past with the knowledge I have now. I really have no preference as to gender or where. Just when. The things one could learn would be priceless.
I want to be born in a facist aristocracy, on top of the foodchain, with a lot of talent and great creative gusto. Then I could imprint my will on millennia as upon wax. That’d be cool. Or else just a duckie. Or an elephant! Yeah…
although i see the attraction of the idea, i think being reincarnated with all the knowledge you have now into a position in which you wouldn’t normally have that knowledge (eg. as a baby, or in the past) would be rubbish - you’d be so alienated from everyone around you and the necessary, edifying life experiences of learning, experimenting, discovering and failing would be lost.
Hitler! But this time no more Mr. Nice Guy.
Reincarnation or Eternity, I haven’t even done everything I want to in this life yet!
Baked beans reincarnate as [pieces of] shit.
Which, ironically, would seem to make excellent fertilizer for crops!
Indeed mrn very true, lets get 2 work shall we ^^ .
Can you be reincarnated to yourself? Just somewhere else or when would give better learning and experience. I kind of like this body, I have gotten used to it, can I keep it? Just get it refurbished. See this is where cloning would come in handy, you clone your body minus a functioning brain, when the first one wears out or your body is causing dementia, you get a brain transplant! I like that. Yes?

Just wait until the resurrection of the dead – it’ll be great!
Reincarnation is a crock. How did the population increase if we are reincarnated? Reincarntion would mean that your children aren’t from you but some whack-job from an earlier time.
Kris says:

But Kris, a lot of us already have the ‘minus a functioning brain’ part down pat. Why all the extra work?
Tent, if you already have a non functioning brain then you won’t think of nor could you probably afford a clone. Unless…now here is a Heinlen idea. You could donate your body and part of your brain space to someone else. There is your answer.
Kris,
No way. I’m not about to turn my body and brain space over to a woman! What was the name of that one? I read 'em all, but that was many years ago. I liked his time travel ideas. The idea of going back in time and having sex with your grandmother, which means that you are your father, which means… It still makes my head hurt.
That’s a twist: If you go back in time and get killed, do you disappear in the present? Is reincarnation just one way time travel? Maybe remembering past lives is really remembering future lives?
I need more coffee…
