I just thought I’d let you guys know that you can get help from people to help you secure the site from spambots. I’ve noticed that a few spambot posts have slipped through
Rentacoder.com has programmers for hire, maybe you can ask one to help you find info to secure the site?
BTW who owns / runs the site?

Thanks for the suggestion, we do try and keep spambots to a minimum using various bits of software but sometimes they will get through.
The forums are run by a team of volunteers (the staff) who can be identified by their green coloured name in the list of Who is online. The staff team leader is Uccisore who is in charge of the overall management of the forums. The site itself is owned by me.
