Requirement for Aesthetics

I was wondering whether engaging in the aesthetic philosophies (what is Truth? What is Justice? What is Beauty? etc) requires an Absolute philosophical perspective to engage in.

Is it possible to be a Relativist, or hold a non-foundational world view and still participate in Aesthetic Philosophy?

I find it almost impossible to deal with absolutes, but i do prefer the areas of philosophy that deal with truth, why we are, what we are, why do we do what we do e.t.c.

I personally avoid absolutes wherever possible and this is the source of my own difficulty with aesthetics. I am suspicious whenever I hear any Platonic-styles claims about the Form of Justice, etc and think that this is, at best, an idea or ideal.

Justice is too subjective for a universal law too allow the correct level of justice for each person/situation. It takes a great person with a vast amount of knowledge and understanding to be considered just. As far as straight aesthetics go i know what i like but most of the time i dont know why I have often wondered if there is something far more fundamental and instinctive about it.
