You own your own farming land, for acres and acres, secure against outside intruders, you have enough cash banked to pay the property taxes into the foreseeable future and you are not bound to investments or the US dollar but are able to buy and sell freely with barter or non-dollar financial assets in case the system really does go down for a while and they force all dollar holders into digital currency?
Money is the religion of every capitalist. I am now convinced of this, even though in the past I might have argued for some exceptions in terms of producers of value. But the power of money to over-code is simply too great. In the end even a Roark or a Rearden is in it for the money. That is just being realistic. We need money to survive, that is the world, and anyone who pretends like their own labor-love of producing value in the world can subsist over time without a directly attributed cash-gain or the existence of some other, commensurate mechanism of cash-gain to sustain not only their personal life but also their productive business activity, would be⦠highly fucking naive.
This is a good point. Data centers are not only about training AI in digital worlds, but also is about using those worlds to map 1:1 onto the real world via every possible vector of data-collection at their disposal.
Total accumulated data properly integrated into the digital world model allows perfect real-time surveillance, and therefore control. Training the AIs up from birth (as I had written about a decade ago would be needed to create a REAL LIVING AI) is only half of it.
The current administration is going beyond anything that others have done, but it admittedly didnāt start with them. The USAās ādemocracyā has been questionable for a long time. I picked up on it in the 1980s.
Reagan is the reason we have the corrupt crony capitalism of today and Nixon is the reason that everything got offshored to China where if World War III doesnāt happen we will live to see the Chinese Century.
Then there is that twat Ayn Rand, youāll notice a lot of her writing influences with Rothbard and Friedman. Ronald Reagan would of never existed without them.
The entire republican and libertarian political discourse is objectivist twaddle.
