Rome and its Gods

I said something I need to correct the other day, that Romans didn’t take their gods very seriously. I said this because certain emperors have declared certain humans to be Gods. I think Augustus declared Caesar a God, is that right? That would have started the tradition. Of course Caesar may have been an actual god come to the flesh. Ive been reading his writing recently, by the way.

Anyway Rome, the Republic, took its Gods absolutely seriously. With no room for relativization.
Just wanted to set that straight.

One of Many Roads to Rome

Before Jesus was born Caesar Augustus was declared to be divine son of God God and God from God he was Lord liberator redeemer and savior of the world not just of Italy or the Mediterranean but the entire inhabited earth.

Was around the same year, wasn’t it?

One wonders about the synchronicity.

On the other hand, not. That period of time was when the Sidereal and the Tropical zodiacs coincided. A lot of extremely powerful folks were bound to occur.
