Satan is Dead

I’ve got this idea in my head, for a comedic film where the parents of a devil-child are successful in their killing of it, and the devil is no longer alive.

What would happen if the anti-christ, or satan is dead?

What kind of things happen in stories when God is dead?

I just gotta see if these things even make sense.

Is this the sequel to Rosemary’s Baby?

One cannot slay evil itself.
You can shatter one form of evil or one vessel of evil, but evil itself is part of us. As is the good.
The potential for wickness rests within the hearts of all humankind.
Evil can be defeated in one battle, but the war continues everafter.

Exactly. How can one kill a subjective value judgement?
To destroy ‘evil’, you would have to destroy human individuality to the point that everyone agreed on every little thing.

Gotistot. Satan is as alive as ever, I’m afraid.

yeah
His book of instructions is known as the holy bible.

You know twice now I’ve seen a T-shirt that says:

“God is dead”- Nietzsche

“Nietzsche is dead”- God

I think it is absolutely adorable and on this second occasion I literally offered to buy it off the guy’s back. He declined, obviously, saying that a friend gave it to him and he wouldn’t know where to get one.

Does anyone know of any novelty T-shirt companies that might have “quote” shirts? Lemme know, I gotta have a few made.

i’ve got a far more interesting question

what would happen if it existed

god as well, for that matter.

Imagine a being capable of doing whatever it wants, because it is perfect.
What would it be like if being perfect were possible?

Detrop, if you’re out there and still want one of those T Shirts, you can get them here:

(The same place ILP (supposedly?) sells its merchandise through – I’ve yet to see any ILP merchandise there? Pity, 'cause I could sure do with some ILP underwear right now)
