Satanists are boring. These are the type of people that pretend to adhere to Aleister Crowley’s writings but when pressed to actually put them into practice cower away.
I look for a group of people to explore the more destructive, animalistic, and sinister forces of human nature with where instead all I find are a bunch of loathsome attention whores in black makeup or dress. These people are far from sinister where instead they’re just as tame and domesticated as the rest.
Then even more hilarious modern Satanists are some of the most politically correct people I have ever met in my life. They always criticize Christians and other religions yet surprisingly they act just as much the same way. A bunch of self proclaimed hypocrites that make themselves out to be demigods.
For those like me who are searching for the prime modus operandi of the animalistic processes that constitutes human nature my word of advice is to not waste your time on these idiots. If Satan or Lucifer was a real life being he would of skinned them all alive and burned their bodies to ashes already for the bloody hypocrites that they all are.
There was a cult in my country called the black rose. They used to kidnap, torture and murder people. So I’m pretty sure that they explored the sinister, destructive and animalistic forces of human nature more than you, LaughingMan .
Also, ever heard of black metal? Some of these guys burn down churches and shit. That’s not to say that there aren’t many others who are posers.
I myself detest all forms of satanism except my personal one that I talked about in my old thread. Churchofsatan shit goes on my nerves with its faggoty ranks like witch/priest/magus and other fantasy bullshit. What’s worse, they actually encourage their members to respect shitty laws just because they come from the state. What kind of satanism is that? I thought satanists are supposed to be against conformity and obedience to bullshit?
That’s not how I see Satan. Satan killed only 10 people in the bible. God ruthlessly murdered over 2 million. If you want to explore man’s destructive nature and all that, you should read Old Testament and start worshipping Yahweh. Satan is a nice guy and a hero compared to Yahweh.
It’s homophobic when the comment has absolutely nothing to do with the subject matter of the conversation. Such as a conversation about Satanism in which some idiot decides to point out that “Satanists tend to be gay”. Who gives a fuck?
IF that’s even true, it’s pretty obvious as to why and really doesn’t need to be discussed among discerning adults, but if that’s what you want to spend your time talking about - how Satanists are gay - then go start another thread.
Female satanists perhaps tend to be gay, I don’t know. But I don’t see how that’s true for males, none of the male satanists I know are gay (admittedly, I know only 4, 5 including myself).
But you guys and gals are starting fights for the stupidest reasons.
First of all, most people I know that use the word “gay” to describe something they don’t like don’t actually mean to offend gay people, that word is just deeply instilled in their vocabulary and even most gay people I know seem to realize it and don’t mind it.
Second, it seems to me that Maia wasn’t even using it in a derogatory way and was just making an observation based on her experiences. And I don’t see how that’s hating on (or being afraid of) somebody. And if you were to remove every single even slightly off topic word from every single thread, you’d be left with an almost empty forum.
If the meta social outlook of a certain philosopher, can be sustained, without a predilection toward synthesis, then it would be easy to include the requirement to the outlook, that evil as personified as satan is a necessary postscription on the part of all that’s holy, to define and reify it’s self. There appears merit in this, however the next logical step is, as another acute home bred philosopher points out, the need for a synthesis between good and evil. If this is what satanism boils down to, then it ain’t all bad.
Yes, I’d call myself that even if I probably don’t fit your traditional definition of a satanist. I talked about it already in my thread, was called “Good Guy Satan - The Unsung Hero of the Bible” I think.
I believe and don’t believe in Satan at the same time. It’s called the Holy Duality and is a huge mystery. Satan is a good guy and a hero who once saved humanity but he also doesn’t exist. He works in mysterious ways.
