if you found out you were a schizophrenic is it possible to believe what is real is only a delusion?
If we’d lost the capacity to remember anything would we be able to tell?
yes
yeah probably like peopel with aultsimers can tell i think
the loss of a memory,is the gain of wisdom.
There are illusions and delusions. Are you a dreaming butterfly projecting humanity? Our grasp of reality is tenuous at best.
Oh, Alzheimer victims are free because they don’t know they don’t know. It is those of us with half-heimers that have the problems…
JT
yeah true but my original question was, if you found out you were a schizophrenic is it possible to believe what is real is only a delusion? so could i get some answers to that
As someone with experience: Yes. Why do you ask?
i dont know i always wondered this because some of my close family has schizopgrenia.
i wont reveal if i’m a schitzo or not but: the world is so horrible it is indeed easyer to belive an alternate universe is ‘realer’ than ours.
if coarse we can grasp this is the dominent reality, but it shouldnt be. we dont deserve this crap.
i have rejected this farce. but know it to be…here now… but not real as in the way it should be. this is just the way it is.
i’d think anyone can tell that this reality is not a delusion. but it hurts.
those with a stronger imagination could escape…
I think if you are schitzo, you already know that. You can only create the alternate if you yourself realize this. To believe that the ‘real’ is not real, you just have to convince yourself you made the nonreal ‘real’.
It’s like in the movie Fight Club, when Tyler tells ‘Jack’ he is a figment of his imagination. Then ‘Jack’ realizes that he alone can eliminate Tyler. But, since Tyler was created by him, he actually told himself he was schitzo.
