Screaming Bloody Murder

Driving my clammy car parallel to a highway I hear sirens, coming closer. As I begin to think they are getting worryingly close, and I can’t decipher any movement around me, car comes crashing ten feed town over the highway embankment into the shrubbery and tumbles over a couple of times before it comes to a rest. I stop my car and as I begin to fear for his life I see the driver climb out and begin to run through the shrubbery, when a dozen cops come jumping down the embankment and chase him down. I get out of the car and approached the scene where the driver is being moved out of sight, and before a cop tells me to get back from the evidence I am able to make a couple of pictures of said evidence. I guess there’s no harm in me publishing it. It’s compelling.

These guys do seem to have pretty interesting jobs. Or I just caught them on a good day.

My friend crashed a truck into a lake the other day. It was pretty interesting too.

My dad’s an astronaut.

Was he on “the challenger”? I mean since we’re talking about crashes.

I posted this in my music thread but I think it needs to be reposted here. I love the vid but I’m still not sure if it’s funny or in bad taste. I feel both amused and sadness at the same time - weird.

Obviously, this track (from Hobo Rocket album) is a take off of the Challenger tragedy with real footage of the disaster but with a fake crowd. The dude waving goodbye before entering the rocket is the lead singer – which always makes me laugh – but watching the actors in the crowd makes me feel intensely sad… Anyway, this video/track is what I think of now when I hear someone mention the 'Challenger Disaster".

Came out of the shop, milk in hand, got into my parked car, heard a thunderous bang, my car and I are hurtling back through the shop frontage, as I am sailing through the air, I think, if this car goes through the shop window, I will be decapitated, my car comes down to earth, the hood of the car inside the shop, the windscreen inches from the remains of the shop frontage, alas the shop was closed for ten days, my car was a write off, the driver of the offending vehicle lost his license, all is well.
