Secret knowledge

Partial quote from secret knowledge I have been studying.

I realize that the limits of comprehension and preception can be soft-ware-pre-programmed.

The truth can be made impossible to know, if the culture is programmed properly.

I have a few problems with this text.

  1. I am deeply skeptical of any text which uses computers to describe to brain and neurological processes. Partially because the brain exists for a different function than the computer, but also because the brain uses a combination of physical connections and chemical processes to function. How neurons are connected are just as important as what they’re connected to. Levels of hormones affect brain function, and the effect different things in different parts of the brain, and body.

Also, I dispute comparisons between computers and humans in terms of objective measurements of processor speed or memory. These are spurious in my opinion.

Ok, there’s a supercomputer which apparently contains as much computing power as the human brain… so what.

  1. the words imprinting and software to me assume that there is a programmer writing code and formatting memory somewhere. Of all the things that god may be, he is not a computer geek.

cheers,
gemty
