Probably to listen to the music which he loved. Your statement is kind of stereotypical, isn’t it? Why wouldn’t he? Different kinds of music appeal to different parts of our brains, I think. If his brain is in good working order, there would most probaby have to be something - some opera - which could appeal to his senses. Music appeals to our emotions - are gangster biker dudes without emotion? We might be surprised about the kind of music which would turn one on. Perhaps something really beautiful which would be an escape from his usual norm. None of us are either all this or all that. If you can’t imagine him sitting in a symphony hall listening to an opera, completely enthralled with tears rolling down his cheeks, then you don’t understand human nature much. Poor biker dude.
He probably changes clothes. I mean, let’s face it - perhaps the businessman lives some kind of a mundane existence and his alter ego just thrives on riding around with the tough guys. Who knows, he just might be the leader of the pack.

Suits cover tattoos as does makeup or fake ones wash off. Bikes are not cheap. Harleys are damned expensive. I have known bikers all my life. They have diverse tastes in their lives. Well written music is always apreciated.
By your statements I ought to be putting a bullet in my head because according to you I really really must hate myself. Arc here is far different from me but, she is a dear friend. Comfort with yourself is accepting and appreciating difference. Loving it. Repetitive is boring and very dull unless you are insecure with change or difference. A type of agoraphobia.

Therefore, we need to postulate the primacy of self hatred and self love. Is the self known primarily through appearance or behavior, essence or existence, material or immaterial?

No matter how much you nurture a grapevine, it will never become a cherry tree. You believe that if you nurture a grapevine “properly”, then it will become a cherry tree.
I think you hit the nail on the head:except you left one out: appearance, SELF ACCEPTANCE, and behavior. I think ARc was right when she spoke of bounderies., self acceptance is the guarantee whether behavior will properly effect it's appearance.
Of course we are supposedly the least hardwired of species and that’s why our Young don’t pop out running, for example. They require more nuture because there is a more flexible brain. But I am a rationalist (as well as being an empiricit and some other things also).
Rununder, if such were the case then we would not acknowledge or love family especially including extended families. We also could not hate them. Our family ties would end upon maturity.
Only if it is nature to nurture badly or well. While natural nurturing exists it is taught by and large. If it is predominantly nature then a 5 year old would be parental.
Nature breeds difference. Animals fear difference. Families will exile members which become too different than a standardized expectation. This is called a status quo.
Difference leads to self hatred, contempt, resentment.
If you love yourself, then you love what is most like yourself. If you hate yourself, then you hate what is most like yourself.
