I think the laws against sexual harassment are WAY too strict. Women tend to complain about everything now. A woman would flirt with a man, and then if he’d kiss her and she would think its gone too far she would file a complaint instead of just warning the person.
If you compliment women too many times, you’l be arrested, fired, etc…
In Israel, politians can’t serve more than several years until some girl from 1975 would remember that when she was young she was annoyed by that guy. BAM! Jail.
And I’m not even talking about women who blackmail men for this. I’m only talking about women who find it so easy to ruin a man’s career instead of confronting him first. I think women should understand that men need multiple partners more than women, we can’t depress it and we don’t want to. If a woman is not interested she can just say, warn, and warn again. This is men’s nature always to flirt and seek more partners.
I am all for advancing women in society, but these sexual harassments, who’s sick mind thought about this law??
i’m always amazed by how people can support laws that offer so very little actual proof. sexual harrassment is typically a ‘he said, she said’ situation. i hate to see anyone lose their career or reputation for something that lacks definitive evidence.
however, sexual harrassement doesn’t seem to be all that strict right now. look at the repurcussions of bill o’reilly’s harrassement charges. pretty lame. can’t say that he was overly punished, now can we? even with plenty of proof and the type of harrassement that i thought should have brought about some sort of disciplinary action.
And the parents should understand that there are some pedophiles who need children for their sexual pleasure. Laws are there to make us more civilized not to go back to our ancestral times.
