There is something strikingly similar in Socialism and Fascism. Both of them distinguish themselves a by an exorbitant expenditure of energy on repression.
Repression of energy, of course - energy positioned to obstruct itself.
The philosophical art of designing government aims for systems with minimal interference to spontaneous development of energy into form, family, culture, arts and earthly pleasures.
The Roman Republic and the system of annexing cultures instead of erasing them, the selective democracy of Athens next to a relatively mild system of subservience, Holland, Great Britain, America as successful experiments with self interest as morality.
There are other ways: France and Russia are examples of the opposite - France is opposite because the nation is understood as an end, not a means, Russia is opposite because the tragic nature of life is central, not a condition one may choose or not choose to accept. Politics have no meaning except exploitation in such a climat - that is why Communism could be so easily implemented, and why Russia was subject to the greatest suffering.
Germany is probably the most complicated, strange country of the west. It’s drive for efficiency is so cold to compromise that it is hard to psychologize. We may learn of Germany how the state controls man - how man is made subservient to a system by valuing things as efficient, instead of for example beautiful or humane. Efficient to what? That doesn’t seem to matter. Whether it is music or war, they know what they’re doing.
Maybe they are the ultimate machine to secure mans evolution as a solid species. I have a respect for the German world that borders on the nightmarish. But it must be employed to a goal this time, the Germans need to come up with a plan to secure world order without disrupting flow of energy. They can do it, they are engineers. They need to work with the manufacturers of surplus value - the Italians, of course - and listen to the complaints of the French - the people of Europe. ( the great mass of European people was basically France, for the bulk of the mIddle Ages).
The Scandinavians are simply contributing to this by being no obstruction and living well. From them will perhaps rain some mercy on the chasms from whence the smoke rises in Germany - some meaning to it all - some cool reflection on the strength that one forces oneself to exert.
Spain, Portugal; South America - liberalism, true communist spirit, living life in communes because this is pleasant under the sun, living useless and free.
Turkey - Gate to the new rebellion against the global state as a bankers state, traditionalist militarism, feudalism, practical interpretation of religion, fanatical in its desire to remain unaffiliated with “evil” - an original nation, unpredictable except in that.
The Arab World - A beginning of a rational consensus in terms of global standards. Elucidation of the concept democracy, adaptations of the classical ideal to present conditions. Islam partially applied as lubricant for the reformation, in part as a guard to traditional values. Conflicts within islam may here and there take on a more hopeful and proud tone.
Iran - No idea
Pakistan - Raised eyebrows
India - Things run like they always do - roughly but steadily and with no intention of causing trouble
Central Asia - Economic forces gradually induce a sense of a deep, deep future
China - Western pirate entrepreneurs reform Chinese government from within, creating a sense of pride of what has since Mao been repressed - the Imperial past which lingers skin deep, the sense of natural justice through correct application of form. Fascism will dissolve into a more subtle, graceful artistry - great utopian projects commence, keeping man occupied for centuries.
Africa - total justification. Life. All notion of sin washed away by past suffering, intelligent exploitation by China, no ideological interference, simple economy around basic necessities and a gigantic tourism industry, generating enough profit to fund ambitious experiments with nature.
