Should the United Nations order Australia and New Zealand to fight one another for world wide amusement?
If they don’t fight, China and the US can promise to tag team both countries, maybe we will invite Indonesia too.
US can provide advanced aircraft and weapons to New Zealand in advance to give them a competitive capacity.
Both sides need 43% civilian and military casualties prior to war end, or else world will nuke them both heavily, every city gone. Even if both countries join together to fight against the world, they will die miserably, so they might as well as fight one another to get it over with.
What would be the highlights of such a war. Foreign countries are allowed to airdrop and deliver whatever equipment they want, but the war has to be fought by Aussie and Kiwi nationals only.
And any high minded attempt not to fight results in a Daisy cutter being dropped on a town in both countries, no high minded pacifism will be tolerated, UN will wipe everyone out if they don’t cooperate. And no, such prodding doesn’t count towards the 43%.
Note: The “100% PURE NEW ZEALAND” tag line in the video was a marketing tag aimed at Australian tourists (maybe it was used world-wide?) so using the slogan here makes the video funnier.
PS: Did you know NZ was part of New South Wales? It was but the British decided to create a separate colony around 1841, so Australia wouldn’t be invading as much as simply taking back what is rightfully ours. If Putin can take back part of Ukraine, we can take back NZ.
The biggest fear Australia has is if NZ arms their sheep. 30 million plus well armed and trained sheep inconspicuously mixed in with the population would be a nightmare. We wouldn’t be able to tell them apart from the general population.
It might be your hardware-accelerator causing problems. Turn that off and see if it’s the cause.

1 Click the menu icon (three striped lines on the top right of the browser)
2 Click settings
3 Go to the bottom of the page and click Advanced Settings
4 Under ‘System’ uncheck the ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’ check box.
5 It’s best if you clear out your cache, cookies, temp files too so
Click on the menu again (3 striped lines) > More Tools > check the ones you are happy to clear out then remove them.
6 Close the browser then reopen it and see if this works
If you have a different browser, search for how to turn the hardware-accelerator for video off in that particular browser.
Oh, I thought you had the same problem on your desktop computer but you’re referring to desktop web as opposed to the mobile web.
The particular web you’re viewing doesn’t have anything to do with it. It’s most likely a browser issue. What browser are you using on your mobile? Chrome? Firefox? Opera?
I’m working at the moment so I won’t be back for a while but you might want to do a search to find out how to disable the hardware-accelerator for video on your particular mobile browser. It will be similar to what I posted above (Settings > System? > Hardware accelerator) or similar. When you find it, uncheck the checkbox. You can always turn it back on again if need be.
It’s legally impossible for the Queen to declare war on herself, so Australia and New Zealand can never go to war, since both still recognise QE2 as their head of state. This didn’t actually stop India and Pakistan doing exactly that in the late 40s, when both still recognised KG6 as their king, though they got around the issue by not bothering to declare anything.
UN will declare war for them. If the royal family wants to break out their old arms and armour and join in, nobody will stop them. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Knight charge a Tank with C-4 on her lance.
