So… it will be a very uneasy situation if during Cruz’s lawsuit, testing his citizenship claim, if Fidel just for shits and giggles comes out and lauds Cruz as the greatest Cuban Citizen in the US. Fidel is a tricky bastard, and would like nothing more than to get back at the Diaspora, which Cruz is a part of. It will be utterly humiliating if Cruz is swearing up and down he renounced his Canadian Citizenship in front of a court, suddenly has to quash another citizenship claim. I figure as if right now, Cruz is the absolute worst candidate for Cuba, so it’s in their best interests to demolish him at the right time.

If he is president, and he goes to war with Cuba, and kills off Fidel and Raul, he instantly becomes the top Cuban Generissimo, and Cuba becomes his private property even after a new president after him is elected.
He should run for president, prime minister of Canada, and President of Cuba and just freak everyone out having most of the western hemisphere under his command, and order the three states to war pointlessly against one another.
Not that I agree with your claims about Obama (which are believed only by the extreme right), but if we follow your argument that in this case it should not matter just as it was the case with Obama, then you concede that going forward this should be the new normal. Maybe Putin can be convinced to run in 2020?
