What Constitutional mechanism exists that allows prisoners to loose their 2nd amendment rights? I’m not talking felons, but people still actively in prison.
So what…all of a sudden people are going to go by what the constitution says? You know the police think that “probable cause” is just a word they have to say out loud before they rape your privacy. They think, “stop resisting” is something they have to say out loud before they usurp the powers of the court and perform executions of unarmed people in the streets. You’re not concerned with those things? You think it’s important for prisoners to be armed? Well guess what…some of them are. If you want to make a weapon, and you’ve got half a brain, you probably can. I wouldn’t worry about it so much. Instead focus on what a police force might look like in a place where people were actually free and where they had some kind of rights.
