Shouldn't We All Talk About Logics Before Anything Else?

Of all human knowledge, I couldn’t think about any subject that’s more fundamental than Logics. Can you?

In human knowledge? I think that somewhat of a mix of imagination and logic are important.

but logic is boring… my world is best explained by paradox, hyperbole and metaphor…

The reason for paradox to exist, is to solve it by logic.

I thought the nature of a paradox was that it was unsolvable? Or at least universally unsolvable.

I say logic is logically flawed. I remember seeing this somewhere and it stuck with me. Wish I could give whoever credit…

i wish i could remember where nietzsche threw the law of identity out of the window in his philosophy… anyone else here know what i’m talking about…

Logic alone is baseless, it will get you nowhere by itself. It’s only a tool to derive valid conclusions from certain premises. Logic can tell you nothing about the truthvalue of these premises.

So it’s certainly not fundamental.

the paradox is where you park matching boats…
