So I'm The Asshole

I would not deny I am prone to error, but I do not curse the ambiguity of language for its contribution to humor, one of the best flavors of life as I see it.

Thank you very much for the link you shared. I would comment on your article directly but am adverse to account creation with minimal intent for use. So I will comment on it here.

I am neither well read nor particularly deep. If anything, I am congenitally strange. But when I read something like your article it is encouraging. It is deep and insightful and beautifully expressed. I appreciated your poetic selection and the interpretation you provided. Your experience with the church sounds quite familiar.

Your conclusion, in particular, was wonderful.

“Idealism is a way of perceiving life and death, and the struggles involved, not just a philosophical view. I think some people are born that way, and their gift is rarely welcomed because it seems melancholy.”

I wouldn’t so insult you as to suggest we are similar, but I think we have a lot in common. I appreciate your input.

There are worse things in life than being a bit of an asshole from time to time

Hi Humanize,

This is true unless that being causes harm to another or one’s self.

Do you think that it is a good thing to be aware when that is happening or to just go with the flow?
