he’s just so perfect,
with his broad shoulders,
and that smile of his.
everybody thinks so,
everybody says so.
and everybody knows how lucky you are,
and how splendid it is
that you are going to be his bride.
he’s just so perfect.
and everybody says,
and everybody knows.
so perfect in so many ways.
so very many ways.
his prospects are excellent,
his good looks are evident,
he’s quick with a compliment,
his manner is confident.
he’s just so perfect.
everybody says so.
and everybody knows how lucky you are.
and so you are sure,
absolutely sure,
that very soon,
you will find a way
to stop
crying.

Another good 'un. I like the flow of this, and the description of this Mr Perfect. And it’s so true that people who, by “common standards” should be happy, in fact aren’t.
