Imagine if you had alchemical 3D printers connected to pc’s, what would happen to the drug problem. Now give the internet to sexual issues and see what is happening. Make alcohol and tobacco into a social outcast, and you create a culture of outcasts and rebellious factors. Make a world culture into the criminal and wonder why there are an endless stream of terrorists. Now stick the whole lot into a societal blender and mix.
What do the powers that be hope to achieve from all this?
Humanity has improved over time, crimes of violence are less than a hundred years ago, society itself is far less brutal.
If we put this through a yin yang to see the movement of duality in simple terms; The right side pushes against the left, but they are equal and one cannot destroy the other. While the right side may appear to be triumphant, what is actually occurring is that the left side is becoming more dense.
I would argue that the societal warmongers have long overstepped the apparent benefit of their efforts [i.e. Of the right side], and in truth the successful effects are manifest from the lack of duality, not the dualistic effort itself! If we consider e.g. the changes society has been through in the 20thC, human rights, the hippy movement, cnd etc, these things make effect in being benign.
If i am wrong then; Exasperation is NOT the same as growth, and that doesn’t sound logical.
The balance metaphor will make both sides have effect. The more salient feature suggests that some policies designed to make things better, are actually making things worse. We have seen this socially and on the news all the time. The way politics and the media [the right side] attack and single out individuals and terrorism/extremism [dark side], is making the whole thing worse and not better. hard to put percentages on all of that.
Tedious to put percentage but, not difficult. Look at terrorist acts, the overwhelming majority of humanity will never experience a terrorist act. The word terrorist can be warped to include common criminals , a government act such as immenent domain, bullying etc. But terrorist is generally a dissident or group of such. They certainly do not consider themselves terrorists, well most do not. Most consider themselves activists, soldiers, rebels. Any act of war can be terrorism.
So when you declare terrorism , what does it encompass? And how do you see yourself compared?
Once you have your definitions, numbers can be found.
That’s very interesting, but it didn’t do anything to back up your erroneous notion about the triumphs of the Left, including the legalization of Gay marriage.
