Some cool lyrics I wrote for a new hip hop track

The old truth’s blown away, and you got nothing to say
I guess you’ve all paid, but I’m still waitin’ for my day
So you’re all fixed, and you’re gonna get hip
So drop your limp dick, and develop a new hit.

A Nietzschean who likes…‘hip hop’?

that’s why i say you’re the funniest guy here, Impious… :evilfun:

There’s quite a few of us over here, actually (Downsyde, Look-Up Crew, the Lads of the Crackhouse, Hunter, to name just a few)- it’s a popular style in the scene.

PS everyone else is just a weirdo. ( ? :^o )

haha, can you even imagine what Nietzsche would think of hip hop?

you don’t belong in this world, Imp…

I hope you wait for the right time to deploy that song- wouldn’t want to squander yourself, you know?

Fab - I’m a big Eminem fan. Some of his better lyrics are right in line with Nietzsche’s epistemology. Truth being a matter of perspective and all of that. Not many writers are willing to disagree with themselves. Nietzsche and Em are two that are.

hahaha! Oh, Faust, you’re trying to amuse me, aren’t you?

Eminem hates his mother and is a notorious gay-hater…and has a terrible voice, for that matter.

I am serious about Em.

Firstly, it’s a mistake to take any lyric he writes as a final statement - just as it’s tricky to find “final” statements in Nietzsche.

I think Em hates fags, but not gays. I have gay friends that hate fags.

I think he hates his mom, and maybe loves her, too. That’s not an unknown complex of emotions. I always loved my mom - but I am not a fan because I share his views. I am a fan because he expresses them so well.

His singing is not his finest moments - he will agree with that. He is a brilliant lyricist and producer.

I’m curious as to the distinction between those two words.

That seems like a bit of a dodgy statement to me, to be honest.

Too true.

To be honest, what’s the difference [I reckon Faust most certainly would have edited it]

Count yourself lucky.

I liked some of his early stuff but not much else, to be honest. But I then haven’t listened to much other than has been played on the radio, so I’m in a way inclined to trust your opinion.

PS. You’ve yet to comment on Impious’ lyrics. [-X

Litenin-

You wouldn’t understand it if I said that some gay men are faggier than others?

Or, more to the point, that some men (in general) are faggier than others?

I wasn’t aware there are different levels of homosexuality. I have heard of the term ‘flamers’. I associate that with one being more showier of a gay nature. If that is what defines one compared to the other, I get the connotation. A little rough on the imagination, but I get it.

Not different levels of homosexuality, but different degrees of effeminacy. To the point of affectation.

‘The Way I Am’ is sublime poetry.

What I most appreciate about Em is the density of his lyrics. He can say more in one rhyme than most lyricists say in a career.

Fame, the media, the politics of art, why he is an artist and why we should admire the artist and not the man, why People Magazine is a cancer, racism, the Cult of Celebrity, why radio sucks (most of it) - there’s about twelve New York Times articles here - except that the NYT would be so honest.

People who are intellectual AND can adapt to what a majority of smart people call “stupid trends,” those intellectuals can fit in with CEO’s and shady crack house thugs. They have many faces, many tones, and many times they curb/enhance their language depending on the surrounding crowd. If smart people get a whiff of those intellectuals, they think they now have ammo to knock them down. They are really smart, but cant understand how the stupid side duality gives you the benifit of a privledged glimpse. (All walks of life) This is why just plain smart people will have are harder time surviving in the long run.

Imp needs to breed, then hook me up with the breeders cousin. It’s only natural.

Faust, no

People like Marshall because he flaunts weakness, unlike the black hardcore of “never let em see down” Which is justified.

Em flaunts that weakness, which is honest, then hits you with some angry adult shit, hard shit that is now credible.

Rock stars have been talking about weakness, without a fear of being smart or deep, because they can afford to.

I guess other race groups will start to do this too, and fully dominate from that point foward. When they start to create more from comfort than danger, they will involve more outerspace shit, more other worldly shit, with a perspective that means more than on the block philosophy, which already extends to all that other extraneous philosophy, but you need a cipher to decode it.

I could be wrong.
