These are some of my thoughts about the conditioning that
modern people go through. And it also is about my opinion
towards ILP members:
I see some people at ILP trying to take something like religion,
then look at whatever good points they found in it.
Then only focus on those points. Bob i believe does this.
Allot of people have taken religion and made it their own.
They don’t toss out the whole mess. They just edit a little bit,
and then believe in it. And when they “edit” a thought before
assimilation, they fall back on their primary edit procedure,
which is typically subconscious, instinctual, and too human.
Orthadoxy is in danger in Canada. Almost every christian here is
unorthadox. I’m not sure which is worse, a unity of lies, or an
even larger army of half truths. “It does not belong to man even
how to direct his own step”, says the bible. But, despite this,
and despite all the billions of prayers daily prayed, God does not
reveal itself and provide us with a better world. Excuses and excuses
and more excuses whenever we ask God to act. God can talk through
prophets, but can he act? Why does God never act? Your baby is
drowning in a pool, you are somewhere else distracted, Good old
God can see all, and he doesn’t save the baby. Your neighbor would.
Heck even hitler would. It’s just common sense. If you see someone
in trouble, act. But now, despite how God is more righteous than any
man, he has done allot less for people than people have done for their selves.
Even a passive and permissive believe in God has its dangers.
These dangers are part of the human state.
Human imperfection permiates all human products, as all culture is
based on human expression. Each person is born into a full fledged
system fueled by millions of people. And to resist millions of people,
is not easy. I see some people at ILP starting to ask questions and
starting to think creatively. But they seem to me like they are only
taking their first steps. We’d need allot of years and effort to become
truly wise and informed about what is in our life and all around us.
So what people do is they just grab at whatever product they can find,
which feels good or fits enough. And they do a very sloppy job, but
they just do this when they form their code of personality. I believe
the common person puts very little time and effort into the code of
their personality, and by this i mean, the method of personality.
The result is that you can’t be friends with everybody. Only a few
exceptional or special people will see eye to eye with you and be
of finer personality.
The people of ILP are at least trying to crack a few concepts, and
some i believe are even creating their personality moreso. One
issue that people face when creating their self, is that obsession
is a tightly clinging human quality. Obsession with one thing
that is most pleasant, or obsessed with avoiding a certain degree of
pain, to the point where we are distracted away from the task of forming
our personality.
Like breeds like, and so when a large group of people do a shabby job
of forming their mind and person, it becomes influencial and it is
harder to form a good mind in a world that is geared in a crappy way.
I see a lack of humility in ILP. Too much confidance may be a better word.
Too much confidance in nature, God, humanity, and thus trusting desire,
religion and culture.
Some men devout 10 years or more to what they consider to be philosophy,
and make little progress. We have a war between preconception and creative
thought. Preconception is the enemy of psychic accuracy. Creative thought
is about solutions that are fit around problems, instead of solutions fit
around men and reality. Religion tries to make you fit into the ancient
traditional man, and promises rewards after you die. We need a business
of life, other than religion, which offers rewards to life, instead of
only offering rewards after death.
The majority of humanity is religious, and although religion pretends to
love life, they are in secret, deathists through and through.
A deathist sells his body for the sake of a spirit, soul or body.
Angels called themselves “fellow slaves”, when speaking to men.
This enslavement to spirit, to the invisible and to death,
permiates abrahamic religion.
The result is we waste very large amounts of human potential and time
and thought and energy into things that we cannot touch, taste,
hear, feel, eat, warm ourselves with, see, comprehend fully, or…
the list goes on. Religion is powerful, but it is weak at the same
time, because it consumes itself.
People have been trained to identify and reject “truth”, systematically,
sophisticatedly, by either religion or goverment. We live in a world
that is hostile towards outsiders and foreign elements. Life has been
rejected based on how someone is considered too ugly or too unpredictable,
and then their whole social life dies. The most popular people are
entertainers. They provide pleasure and diversion. They are not philosophers,
or humanitarians. Humanitarians other than jesus are very unpopular.
What men want is to wash away all of their problems and live in a pleasant
dream world of religious hope, and mass media entertainment.
What i am trying to do, efficiently with few words, is describe and shed light
upon the present state that philosophers mostly arive at. Opportunities
to appeas the impuslive senses are already taken. The value of human interaction
is belittled by consumerist products that require your hours of work in order
to buy, then take away your hours from other people before you can consume these
products. Consumerism is antisocial, despite how loudly it wishes to advertise
itself around large groups of people. So today we live in a time in which
a human life is worth less than it usedto be.
In biblical times, dishonoring your father and mother was considered so horrible
that it was seen to be punished by death. This is not to say the hebrews were
particularily cruel, but punishment in ancient times was heavy handed because
people were more appauled back then than they are now, when they see some person
dishonoring their society.
Christianity is the enemy of pride. We can’t be proud of our naked bodies.
We can’t be proud of our human abilities. We should instead be so lowly
that we would sacrifice our life for a stranger. This so called heroic
act is an attack upon pride and self-appreciation, or even life appreciation.
Our state craves support. To break free from a religion we must surf the
internet to find a minority of people who can deconstruct that religion
successfully and reveal its hidden corruption. Support isn’t easy to
find when trying to break free from a religion. Religion has been
a political power for a very long time, and it has had many people
breathing more ways and ways and ways into its mouth. Ways to keep
people religious, so that their soul gets saved, or so they say.
Human authority over souls, philosophically, is slavery-words.
When a group of sophisticated men claim they know the fate of your
soul, though they cannot touch, feel, taste, hear, effect or realize
your soul, these preachers claim that if you follow my demands, or,
cooperate with instruction, then, your soul will be able to have
never ending pleasures. This takes control of what the man thinks.
He cannot see his own soul, but by metaphysical rationalism, he
trusts men who appear to be informed. Therefor he sells his soul to
religion, and devouts his life to death.
The majority of philosophers today must be atheist, otherwise
their fear of hell will suppress their mental movement from
out of the caves of the most certain things. People in despirate
conditions seek the most absolute, total, deep, certain “truths”
that they can find. When relieved of the comforts of promised
salvation, the scientist exposes his self to the process of
obtaining the most absolute, total, deep, certian truth.
This comforts his existence, while religion scares and
agitates his existence. The more facts a philosopher finds,
the more relief he feels, as he becomes less religious and
more certain that he has truth. Truth is the enemy of
religion, because it brings comfort to people’s fear of
the unknown.
The people of ILP are a bit more brave and a bit more proud
than common folks. They have certainty, which provides an
anti religious state of mind. A good atheist loves facts.
He seeks for the most realistic and least risky facts.
He loves common sense, and common people. On the other hand,
religious people are commanded to love everyone, and never
try to attack a brother or sister, or ever attack a
religious leader. The last thing that the preist wants is
a vengeful spirit. A vengeful spirit would punish liars.
But we have, millions or more, ascribed to a particular
set of lies, ruling with lies, and spreading deep lies,
without a twinge of guilt or remorse. A vengeful spirit,
instead of an altruist, would declare war on the mind control
that has for so long been so common. So the holy man says,
with words, that the ultruist is good, and revenge is evil.
The people of ILP are not very vengeful. Revenge is a heavy
load to carry, because so many people deserve a smack.
At present, the vengeful spirit is dead. But to keep it dead,
religions teach as they do.
I consider most ILP members to be very religiously conditioned.
The conditioning is hard to explain, but it feels like it is clearly
present. They spend hours trying to unload religious ideas and
metaphysical ideas. They are full of this religion between religions.
And the mind must purge often. This is time consuming, and time
is precious. So, the religion section of ILP is mainly a cathartic
place. Did i spell that right? Cathartic. Catharsus… oh well.
Most people at the religion forum are just unloading. They dump
their crap, but there is allot to dump. Religion and politics
permiates society. Politicians are even more cunning than preists.
I see very little political unloading, despite the amount of
religious unloading that i see. It’s made to look so appealing
and so harmless and “politically correct” that we just swallow it
and don’t gag.
Allot goes into the present state.
Our condition is one of constant conditioning.
In the west i believe the goal is confusion and sedative states.
“How can we know for sure?” is confusion. And it is applied to
all UFO sightings and all rumors. The people responsible for
educating the people, are the people whom have access to certain
beuros. Common people do not own the means to education. This
is a terrible problem. There is so much subtle confusion permiating
western culture that it has become completely blinding like a fog.
People don’t have a philosophical approach to life. We don’t digest
things. We just toss them about in big chunks. The indegestion is
an ignorant society which never really, really changes.
I see the people of ILP as not changing very much.
When they do change, it is to prevent the ‘wrong’ change, and make
more of the ‘good’ change. The changing is against change, against
deviation away from the present state. The state which is so loaded
with culture and religion and humanity.
If they wouldn’t destroy us, another species other than a human would
be so refreshing to be around. An “intelligent” enough species, that
we would most likely declare war on very quickly, if it were smarter
than us. This species would refresh us and help us realize that
we are too human. It is possible to be too human, and if we are
to unload our humanity, we need to fill up on nature and animals,
even though what we need is a superior and wiser species to
be in our presence.
We live in a one world culture. A totalitarian culture, which offers
nothing but the old, traditional philosophical options that it always has.
Presentation changes, but the roots are all alike. Humanity is a trap.
The trap is set up to bleed things, not kill them, although humanity
has killed off many species. What humanity does to itself is what humanity
always does. They want to consume. They consume people’s products,
with a never ending hunger, but art and production takes up soul to produce.
Therefor our soul is required to want to work, to want to go to church,
to want to obey the government, and the sophism which accomplishes this is
vast.
Therefor philosophers at ILP are running in circles, disecting things
that have been mass produced and conditioned into society for so many years.
We’re just facing the basics right now, at this forum, as far as i can see.
I consider the present state to be an overload.
