someone describe nothingness

Someone describe nothingness - I’m at a loss of words. It’s too big of a task for me to tackle. Someone out there might be up for it.

To me all nothingness means is 0 chaos -

I’m seriously hoping someone has a better definition than that. Ya’ll have been doing this for a long time. You’ve learned things over the years.

Nothing is the absence of a particular thing when the lack of said thing is the point on which we focus.

Nothingness means just that. Nothing, no existence, oblivion.
You had no existence for billions of years of the universe’s comming into existence. Nothingness is just that. Nothing.

Um ,this is going on in another forum, there is to date 14 pages of peoples ideas on nothing you may wish to find that thread

Kriswest, what forum is that? theres a lot of other philosophy forums. a little more information would be nice here

What is ‘contained completely’ in the non-spatial is nothingness. It’s the perfect source for ‘somethingness’.

There isn’t a description of nothingness, only of the meaning of the concept of nothingness.

.

Nothingness is contained fully in NO space -

Nothingness has 0 potential to have chaos -

I think that makes sense - but i made it up: they told me to be less intuitive. See if that gets me anywhere.

On with the definition:

Nothingness = nowhere in everything

Remember, during your gestation, before you reached senrtience? Or before you were conceived. You don’t remember because there is nothing to remember. That was nothingness. Prior to your conception and infinitely into posterity, that was nothingness.

Right here:

there is no such thing as nothingness.

You can’t have anything in nothingness, you have no thing.
It’s a non sentence or a double negative. An invented condition of the imagination.

Before the big bang there was something, it just wasn’t electro magnetic.
Things in our universe are defined as being detectable objects. All detectable objects are elecromagnetic. So by our understanding of a “thing” there was “no thing” at the beginning of the universe, however there was something there, because that something started the universe, just not by our definition of a thing.

no thing, is the lack of presence of an object we define as a thing.
a lack of knowledge and understanding of a situation in case of the big bang, and for everything else, a lack of the particular object in question.

Well, I feel dumb asking this, but what is somethingness?

Die and you won’t find out…well, at least in the comprehensive sense.

The true nothingness is:

Void or a Void.

A place empty of all things essances beings substance light matter everything. A complete Vacume if Nothing…

VOID
