hi i just turned nineteen and i hate my father and i hate america and americans and i hate capitalism and i hate religion oh and also i hate intolerance and intolerant people i enjoy being cynical because it makes me seem smart and so does making fun of everybody else’s values which i like to do and i use a lot of fucking profanity because i think it makes me seem older or more cosmopolitan or something along those lines plus it’s fun to shock people with vulgarity and also i like to quote nietzsche or at least the things i think i’ve heard that he said and i like to tell people i’m an existentialist or a nihilist or an atheist because i think it impresses the girls on campus or so i am told but i don’t really meet a lot of girls and i hope nobody ever actually asks me what an existentialist is but it’s fun being nineteen because now that i’m on my own i can think for myself although it looks like i might have to move back home soon if my grades don’t pick up and after thinking for myself i have decided that i hate my father and i hate america and americans and i hate capitalism and i hate religion oh and also i hate intolerance and intolerant people just hate ‘em to death and if you want to be my friend that would be cool how about if i walk you to your next class?
