Google Chrome has a spell-check function… you just hi-light and right click on the word, phrase or web address, and a mini-menu comes up from which you can choose to either spell-check, Google search, or go to the web address - handy huh?
No. I’d have to change browser. Plus it’d only be worthwhile if I can set it to recognise British spelling…which goes for my suggestion here too. Otherwise you can stick it up your arse!
Firefox has a spellchecker. In fact, I don’t think it’s an add-on and i don’t think you can disable it. I use Firefox. But if it’s an add-on, then just add it, trevor, and shut the fuck up.
Oh - I meant “shut the fuck up” in the nicest possible way.
Apparently movie is not a viable word in my dictionary, and I’ve yet to figure out how to add it though, so the dictionaries while mostly comprehensive are never perfect.
It’s easier having a spell checker that actively works on the forum, saves cutting and pasting. Without it I would be more of a linguistic idjut than normal.
On a side note spell checkers are really good for dyslexics like me, over time I’ve found I don’t have to edit spelling mistakes as often, as the words are slowly slammed into my dim witted vocabulary like a man using his legs to wield a sledge hammer.
Spell checkers are not arsehole compatible incidentally. I suggest using the more conventional method of downloading, not up loading into your sphincter.
