Why does it show up in the list when a user is not authorised to view it?
i believe it can be removed through Forum Admin->Permissions->Staff Discussions->Simple Mode set to Moderators (Hidden).

i don’t mix well with Big Brother. There’s just something about the suspension of belief in me that makes it difficult.

There is always a ‘green room’ in any organization. And the stuff that goes on in there…!! Still, the fact that there is such a place is usually understood by most folks. That the staff forum is visible for all to see is more an issue of transparency. Why would we ‘hide’ it when everyone knows that there has to be such a place. We have no hidden agendas, just a place for private conversation…
