If, as we are told in science lessons, air is a solid material (solid in a sense that it is made up of the same atoms that we are made of) can we not look at a section of air in a room? A way to test this is to hold your fist infront of you at eye height and look at it. Then take away your fist. Immediately your eyes focus on the next solid object behing your fist, ie the monitor. I think that it is bizzar that we can convince ourselves that monsters lurk within shadows but we focus on what’s really there.
Please tell me more.
