"…He (Ford- DemocRAT tenn.) lauded Ronald Reagan, bragged of his support for gun rights, balanced budgets, the USA Patriot Act and the war in Iraq, and constantly illustrated political points with references to church, the Bible and God.
As if to illustrate which audience he’s trying to reach, Ford brushed aside a reporter from National Public Radio to give an extended interview after his Camden events to the Christian Broadcasting Network.
In a later interview, Ford says his biggest challenge is the image of the national Democratic Party.
“There is a national perception of the Democratic Party that they are out of touch on moral and cultural issues,” he says. “I think that perception is wrong, and clearly we are making progress in overcoming it.”…
He also says Ford has a more liberal voting record than he admits. The National Journal last year gave him a rating of 58 percent, with 0 being the most conservative and 100 being the most liberal.
“To get elected in this state, you have to have conservative values,” he says. “When you look at his record, he clearly isn’t.”
As the election is now three weeks away, I see where
we are going. The GOP has already stolen the election
with the diebold voting machines (which have been proven
by scientist from Princeton to take about a minute to hack)
The evidence is in the confidence by the village idiot and
Karl rove. Rove has already said the GOP will lose 7 to 10 seats
which suggest he has already set up the loss of these seats.
I say this because some people including experts such as charlie
cook has suggested up to 50 seats will be lost by the GOP.
Now the only way one could be really confident of his numbers
is by fixing the voting machines. That is the only true way to be
sure and confident of one’s numbers and in certain key states
have GOP people in charge of the election, (fla and ohio for
example) So if the GOP is stealing elections, we don’t have
a democracy, we have a dictatorship like nazi germany
or Stalin’s soviet union.
For all the flack W gets about being a little slow, you have to give him some credit - he learned from his daddy’s presidency. Dear old dad made the mistake of letting the people decide, and thus became a one term president.
Junior knew all along, “if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself.”
Actually I think its rather an improvement. Buying elections has gotten quite costly. Why buy the election when you can steal it? A prudent move.
